From what i've seen of Horse Comat

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:33 am

I actually like the horses look and movement and their speed is fine faster than walking but so so fast it makes the place seem too much smaller. Horse combat is fine and good for when you're ambushed on horseback but frankly was way down my personal priority list but I'm certainly not complaining.

yeah but ya really gotta question if it was this simple why wasn't it in from launch or an earlier patch , it was much requested and now they announce it and it just kinda seems half-assed , I don't care too much seeing as how they are working on dawngaurd but still , you have to admit it does seem a little half-assed , the melee attacks im talking about of course , no probs with the bow

The atomic nirnroot bug isn't discreet at all.

Dragon mount was in the jam video...

I could stand to have dragon mounts and mounted combat, if they also added spears/lances. Oh, the fun I'd have.

Let's be optimistic! I would love to mount a dragon. These creatures are so mighty...

I think it would be stretch lore-wise. I mean I understand you're a Dragonborn, but dragons hate being ridden on.

*SPOILER* Only reason Ohdahving let's you ride him is because the situation needed it. I doubt a dragon will let you ride on him just cause you need a lift.

Other than not being able to use bound weapons or destruction spells while mounted, I'm pretty happy with this new feature.

It's called constructive criticism; It's how games get better.

It's really clunky and hard to maneuver, but I'm glad it's there.

Sure beats getting off my horse every five minutes to fight. I just wish there was mounted spellcasting (and from what I can tell, it seems it doesn't work for NPCs, which is a shame).

I know that; come one, let's just have fun! We could have to make peace with the remaining dragons for some reason.

The only way I see us being able to ride Odahviing/other dragons again is if we are going to Solstheim or Alinor or something and we don't want to use a boat.

It looks awesome, you should be happy they're even adding it.

Yeah... This, along with "it's free don't complain", are really abrasive comments.
We're beta testing the feature. It's called feedback. Beta testing completely loses it's purpose if we can't be critical.

yeah I forgot this was beta, lol

I know that it's good with constructive criticism and all, but I just get annoyed at the hostile tone...

If we're going to be constructive: please bethesda, add mounted combat for magic!

Even if it wasn't beta, just because it's free doesn't mean we shouldn't expect a certain level of quality.
