A fun idea

I would like to see a kill cam as I'm sure this game will produce some fancy pants looking kills but also a kill cam is a good way to stop people using underhanded tactics for an entire match before some realizes.

kill cams are only good with killing-based gametypes. i think it should be like bioshock 2 where your camera follows around the guy who killed you for about 10 seconds before you respawn

but spawning doesn't work with the typical "wait XXX amount of seconds then spawn." The spawn time will vary, depending on things like, where the timer was when you died, or if you choose to wait for a medic, if you goto limbo to change class and loadout...

Halo reach looks like call of duty-ized halo with jetpacks. A no no for me lol, battlefield has been cod-ized to much as it is, it was a bad change imo and it will be for halo to. But thats just my opinion.

camping will get you killed in this game.

Camping in the exact same spot yes will get you killed. Guarding an area is an effective strat. I have ghosted plenty of people who were trying to dislodge me.

I did like halo's theater, and hope something similar will be implented in brink, since we need to record our badassery.

As much as killcams can be good it would be more counter productive in Brink.

I'm not sure about the kill cam thing, I wasn't to fond of it in MW2. I usually just skipped it. So I could hurry up and kill more people. =]

Recording would be cool. Seeing how people may want to look at what they did when they SMART their way up to a side of a building they really were not tying to get to but was cool anyway.

at least it was there. also there will be no instant respawns in brink so the killcam can be used to pass the time

What about downed fire? Or waiting for medics to rev you?

You may just be able to spectate teammates while waiting to respawn - it has been done in past games.

wow lots of great ideas...

i agree there should be a "last kill slow mo kill cam"... < lol

the halo match recording thing would be a great idea and also if you could watch other peoples matches like in super street fighter 4, then it would be completely awesome. :celebration:

God, I hope there's no kill cam - I'm 99% sure there isn't.

Man! i hear ya; i absolutley hate the kill cams especially in BFBC2!! all they ever do is give your position away.

Hey guys, I know alot of people hate call of duty, but everyone loves the slow motion last kill cam. I mean who doesn't want to see a guy run up a wall and knife someone in the eye, in slow motion!

I actually hate that slow motion kill cam and kill cams in general.

I think there will be absolutley no k-cam just because there is already so much in Brink and to add a "last kill k-cam" would just be 1) not needed in the game anyway and 2) have to many variables that would eat up valuable game "things"; doing so would mean you would probably have to cut back on something else in the game, which im sure the game devolpers would not like to do.

its a nice idea and i play a lot of cod, there are some pretty sweet final killcams out there but it seems like 4 out of 5 are boring and worthless. instead of a final killcam like cod id rather see a heatmap of where the action was and a list of who did what objectives....like the breakdown you get after a level in an rts game on the computer, i feel that we could all learn a lot from it and it would be interesting to see a very detailed weapon usage and class diversity and such per map

I also can't stand killcams. From the moment I saw it in the the original call or duty, I hated it.

It has its place and I usually like them but I don't think they are suited for Brink.

how bout a (slow mo?) kill cam while you wait to spawn? not only would it entertain you for a few seconds, you would see how they killed you so you can learn and reduces the 'WTF where did that guy come from?' moments. of course if u hate kill cams have an option to disable it.

This is one of the reasons previous SD games didn't have killcams - you're not supposed to know where that guy came from. Giving away enemy locations everytime a player dies, kills tactics and strategy. They already have a solution for revealing enemy locations through Operative skills, and even then it's just a dot on the minimap, not an actual first person view if the enemy.

Well there may be something like that in BRINK. In the E3 video when the player died he had the 3rd person skill on and it looked like he could look around while down and waiting for the medic. Now it won't show you from where the person killed you, but if one is quick and lucky enough they should be able to tell were their murderer was when they were put down. Thats only if they the 3rd person skill.

It switched to 3rd person when you died in ET and QW also. Seeing your immediate surroundings (while you are dead) is a bit different than a killcam.
