After the battle for Skyrim, with both factions, the matter remains unresolved the talmor, maybe a nice battle to free the whole empire?

I wish they did it; it would be a lot more interesting than chasing vampires.

I am still not happy over Elenwen being marked essential.

Spoiler

You can go back to the embassy after the main quest and kill her

I would love some DLC on the Thalmor as the game feels like they were originally planned to be the main enemy in Skyrim, then replaced by dragons and then a few months before release they decided to stick them back in. I think there are only 3 quests where you have direct contact with them but throughout the game, it is alluded that they are your enemies. Bethesda may have also done this as the want the next Elder Scrolls game to revolve around the Thalmor and they had to introduce them first.

I would love it if the first few DLC's were quite small but the last DLC brought together many of the loose ends(From the base game and the other DLC's) and you can decide the ultimate fate of Tamriel(Side with the Thalmor, Imperials, Skyrim, a DLC faction or seize power for yourself). I wouldn't be surprised if the DLC sent us to Artaeum or one of the other Summerset Isles.

Definitely. Same with the Vigilants of Stendarr. I'd love a DLC to kick the Thalmor out of Skyrim, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's not happening. Maybe in a future TES game, but not this one. Skyrim is just filler in the grand scheme of things, and has zero significance on the Thalmor plot.

I would love a thalmor DLC, with hints to a much larger conflict at the end of the CW questline, and the empty thalmor headquarters a castle dour, it's possible it may be included, my guess would that it would be the grand finale DLC similar to LR in FNV

I am looking out for an expansion that would tell us the future of the empire after the civil war and that would most certainly have something to do with the Thalmor and that would explain their intentions better so I am excited to see them. It would be great to see the Thalmor get close to their goal of shattering existence and then you if course thwart them. That would be epic.
