I found this surprising too.. It's not just Vampires vs. Dawnguard - you can actually become a Vampire Lord while still being "the good guy".

Maybe the Dawnguard are... fighting the Snow Elves and the Vampires are caught up in a civil war... and due to the snow elves stealing the elder scrolls from Harkon to bring back their prince from this Soul Cairn, the Dawnguard end up fighting the Vampires for the elder scrolls ... my head hurts. It could actually have some depth to it. I wouldn't hold my breath, but lightning has struck once with the Shivering Isles, it could happen again.

A little more spoilers than I wanted but at least the quest seems to have an interesting story, and that is a plus compared to the lackluster quest we have in Skyrim, just with each and every bit I see I get more excited.

I have one worry they said the content would be in between the Knight if the Nine and I don't care how anybody classifies it that was just a DLC it was just one quest, and the Shivering Isles which one an actual expansion. I am holing the expansion leans over more towards the Shivering Isles in terms of content and size instead of Knights of the Nine.

Yes me too twisting and intriguing quest lines is something this game definitely needs.
Not all vampires are fully evil yes they are dark and they have blood driven animalistic tendency so I am certainly excited to check out this faction.

This is awesome! It actually reminds me of a story I posted about the Cyrodiilic vampires! I knew the Soul Cairn would be more than just a temporary place! There are sidequests and notable NPC's living in that realm! Awesome!

And vampires can procreate, maybe? There is a mother, the father and the daughter!

Yep, that's what I'm doing.

I have an evil vampire one that I classify as such who is going to sire a vampire who will be good and he will also join the vampire faction, its very exciting this is not another black and white tale and there is some gray thrown in there.

Yes, I hope we get buildable homes anywhere we want. But even if not for this DLC we get the two strongholds.
