Gamestop unlockables not right? : Fallout: New Vegas

Ok...I received my unlock code for my Gamestop pre-order and entered it in Steam. The results you ask? I get Valve's pre-order bonuses and not Gamestop's. I'm ticked off. How do I go about getting this resolved? Do I go to Valve, Bethsada or Gamestop?

The PS3 gamestop code doesn't work at all. I wonder if they had a major foul up when they went to print them all up.

there is a good chance the codes got written up the wrong way...just keep trying...i guess i am one of the few people who had no problem getting their code to work

All I know is I payed to specifically get my Vault 13 Suit and Canteen. I am not a happy camper right now.

I'm holding my anger until after the PSN Store refreshes this afternoon (since I have a PS3 and all).

If it's not working after that happens, I will be pretty unhappy.

Try e-mailing GameStop.com on their ''Contact Us'' part of their website. Once I didn't even get a pre-order code with a game I pre-ordered, but e-mailed them about it, and after asking for some information on my pick-up receipt, they e-mailed me the code. If you can't get it to work, try that.

I picked up my CE for the PS3 from Gamestop last midnight.

Didn't have a chance to fire it up or try the pre-order bonus code however because I had to come to work early this morning.

I will post my success/failure as soon as I get home tonight...

I guess I am lucky. Mine seemed to work. Haven't played the game yet. But it downloaded on my 360, and said ready to go. Good luck with everyone else.

Be patient, GStaff is really helpfull, just don't go crazy. Hopefully he will be able to settle this.. Let him do his job.

Kinda what I figured. PSN Store has to update before the code will work since the content hasn't yet been made available through the store.

This happened with me as well, I ordered the ogame digitially and got my code early this morning, put it in and bam, "Caravan pack" instead of the Classic gamestop pack.

I put in my GameStop code into my 360 and nothing happened. I tried it a second time and the response I received was that the code was already put in. I checked my download history and nothing is there, nor did I get the Classic Pack items when I fired up the game. Am I missing something? Has anyone else experienced this problem? How can I try fixing this?

Exact same thing happened to me, i've contacted gamestop support about it and they said it's been passed on to their engineering team.

Same issue for me as well. Bought it at midnight, installed game, then tryed to d/l the Classic Pack. Code used :banghead: So I emailed Bethesda got a response at 8:30am but was in bed. It now 2pm est and the code works. Oh did I mention its for a "FRENCH" pack. I live in the USA. :thumbsdown: This is really getting old, now I've been on hold with tech support for over 30min

To confirm, you bought a copy from GameStop in store... not GameStop digital?

For PS3 users, it sounds like you may be able to redeem your codes now. Having someone confirm on our end from a retail kit .

Edit: It would be very helpful if you guys could use the Hardware and Software boards to report these issues. It's easier for us to investigate issues if they're separted out by threads dedicated for 360, PS3, and PC.

I bought the Game Stop digital download of fallout new Vegas and the pre order key i entered unlocked the Steam per order items and not the Classic Pack from Game Stop. Sure sounds to me like you sent Game Stop the wrong codes.

I dunno, mine worked fine. Guess I'm one of the lucky few. Hopefully they'll send you the right codes, then you'll have TWO packs (and sell one for caps >.>)

I emailed help on the Gamestop digital store (where i bought it) and received this email a few minutes ago,

"Hello,

Thank you for your email.

You will receive the new code for the correct pack within a few hours. We appreciate your patience and we apologize for any difficulty you have experienced."

So if you haven't already you should email them.

Hmmm... I have the 360 version from Gamestop, no problems here. I haven't delved into hardcoe mode quite yet, leaving that for another playthrough so I don't know how the canteen affects anything, but I've noticed I get a little message now and then telling me I've taken a sip out of my trusty vault 13 canteen. Loving my weathered 10mm though.
