I don't want to be High Queen, Emperor, or be forced to mantle Talos. Bad enough that Beth is insisting I mantled Sheo. *sigh* Good thing I can pretty much ignore all the background *noise*....

I don't know if it's patriotism.

I have the "will to power", as Paarthurnax says (of himself and all dragons alike).

I don't. I do NOT have any interest in "power". Not at all. Nor do my toons, since they are all reflections of me - in other skins, and in another world. But still - ME.

You could be the first female greybeard then.

At least *I think*. I wonder if they have had any females in the order.

Doubtful. And I'm not interested in THAT either!

I'm interested in finding the world. Exploring. Killing when I have to, but NOT killing if there's a better way. I want to see every corner of Tamriel.....

I'd be fine letting someone else be High King or Queen and I'll be the Proctor. The only way I'd be High King or Queen is if I truly had total control, but that would be too many 'switches' to implement into the game.

Fair enough!

Honestly, the only reason I'd like to be more involved in this "political side" of the game is that I think it's high time that my character plays on a new battlefield. There's a bit in the Peace Council when Elenwen says "Now I know who you are.. and what you are". I still want to adventure and explore, but it's kind of beneath me now to fight lower level problems. I need to be grafted into that more sophisticated world of conflicts and enemies now. To be a player in that game. I'm tired of fetching the mead, damnit!

It's like when Tom Brady was first in the NFL, no one gave him a chance and he sat on the bench. In college he had the same problem. He was recognized enough to get drafted, but not much more. He said he actually went to counseling for it! He was depressed. Now he's considered one of the best quarterbacks in years, but he only got his chance from a fluke. That shouldn't happen.

Anyways, I'm probably off topic now. I think.

Never happened but thats some serious braggin rights man  I once had ralof run down and help but thats because hes on the path nearby, but man I wish I had tullius come, or even Ulfric! (:

Or both! Would be great to see them duke it out, except I guess at that point it would bug the game.

LOL. We should make a dlc, which implements the arena in Winterhold, and put in an alternative ending of the Peace Council in which Ulfric and Tullius agree to decide things by duking it out! xD

The first rule of Pugilist Council is that you don't discuss Pugilist Council. :nono:
