Good old pc games

Doesn't Morrowind from Steam not include the construction set?

You definitely want the construction set.

The Construction set is a free download for anyone, whether you own the game or not. There are no problems at all modding Steam verisons of Beth's games.

Not the Morrowind one.

I'm sure there's places to find it, nobody minds.

Probably, but not legally afaik as it was only distributed through retail.

So as not to derail to much here I suggest Alpha Centauri if you like strategy games, I still play the crap out of it.

I completely agree.

You may want to try out Big Lots. They have GOOD old PC games (I got Neverwinter Nights, and 3 different Tomb Raider classic games there) mixed in the DVD section. Since they are a retail liquidator they usually have the old stuff. I think I paid a total of $7 for all four games, brand new in the box.

I must go there then. That's a good deal.

get digital versions at gog.com (good old games) : these games WILL run in new computers. If you can even find old boxed games, you'll have a LOT of work TRYING to get the game to run

do you know and use DosBox?? If not, go digital

Yeah I realized that after I posted. So there is no way for a Steam version owner to get the CS legitimately? That's pretty [censored].

I'd also rather have a hard copy of a game, but the sales on Steam right now are just too great to ignore.

I'm currently broke so I have no choice but to ignore them. :banghead:

Sorry to hear that. Also please lock this thread. Realized I basically had a duplicate thread.

Quake.

As my neighbor says "Kids these days have it easy, back when I was young, we had to rocket jump and bunnyhop over pools of boilig lava while running from enemies that would take more ammo and health that the rocket jumping did.
