Kind've. It doesn't quite literally follow the "bullet" like in F3. So no it doesn't follow your arrow by itself, but they are pretty cool nonetheless.

I was hoping for something like that ^
But it does actually... check your facts before posting.
Seen the ''Follow the arrow/bullet'' killcam a bunch of times now.
Can be seen on youtube too, search for skyrim 1.5 killcam.

so, we have swimming in dragon piss vs underwater greatness. which is it?

and, having KILLcams that are occurring when, you know, killing isn't taking place along with frozen player-characters, is about as buggy a 'fix' i can think of.

The water looks really realistic!!!! I've been playing since 8am to test the new kill cams and they only bug out every once and a while, if you keep enough distance between you and your target you should survive the kill cam after missing( my experience so far) but I did notice that if you have the paralyze perk in the archery tree the NPCs(baddies) become paralyzed long before my arrow leaves the bow so I end up having to take another shoot to finish em off.

Don't blame besthesda for this. Other people above you just said it's running better and smoother. There could be multiple reasons why the game has frozen. Too many people use besthesda excuse as a scape goat

Underwater greatness, looks much better. And the killcams usually don't last that long, so it's not that big of a deal, it's just slightly annoying.

Is this on an existing save file? It might be a bug that was already there, try a new toon and see if it still freezes.

don't get me wrong: i like killcams. love em in fallout3.

i'm talking about my character being frozen while an enemy that didn't die during a freakin killcam is coming at me.

but, at least, carrots has figured a way around the bug of the patch, lol.

:wavey: yep from my experience so far today, you just need to stay just out side the draw distance of the game( not using zoom in) and you should have enough distance between you and the angry baddie for the kill cam to stop and for you to either run or get your back-up out.

my first new kill cam wasn't actually me getting the kill.
I was using flame's on the torturers assistant, and a kill cam started and i thought, hey i'll get to torch this dude! but Ralof did a X slash to the guy, and i thought, HE CANCELED MY KILL CAM I KILL YOU! but then i realized, HE WAS THE KILL CAM! i thought that was pretty damn sweet having an assisted kill cam. But then i realized he stole my kill and i spent a few minutes torching him as pay back.

True. I'm bout to start heading North more closer to Windhelm and Winterhold to see any changes on the snow textures.

But yes water looks sweet now, more realistic looking. Tempts me to make an Argonian, lolz.

EDIT: Will say the game does feel smoother, in some senses. Textures are popping in on objects way quicker and they're not taking the 3 step process. (Where it loads the 1st layer, middle, then final layer). It's pretty much skipping the 1st layer.. heh.
Lol, i DID make an argonian.
The water is awesome now. I haven't noticed anything with the snow LOD yet.

The underwater effect is going to have to grow on me. Yea it looks more realistic like you have your eyes open underwater but it also makes seeing anything more than a few feet from you nearly impossible. Realism doesn't always equate to better in games. I was actually fine with it before other than the transition from the surface to underwater where everything was totally clear. I originally though that was all they were changing.

Now that I've re-read this I understand it. I had that very same notorious bug in Fallout: NV. Where you would pick body parts with VATS, initiate the ATKS, then your Char. would remain frozen solid in place and didn't do anything. And in New Vegas that was THE worst because even if you're in VATS you still get hurt (UNLIKE Fallout 3!).

I had this same re-occuring issue from time to time. I would do a Killcam and get stuck in the animation screen. Not being able to move or anything. Sometimes if you wait a lil bit your guy will snap out of it. Only solution I know of..

are you sure your not thinking of companions stealing your kill as you go into the cam?

the only time i follow Hadvar is if i am playing a die-hard Imperialist. It's harder to trust a dude who just tried to execute you than it is a guy who uses you as dragon-bait ("Quick, jump out of this tower! We're right behind you!" yeah right, dike...)

Whole heartedly agree. I always just went with Ralof for the longest because I didn't even know you had a choice. Recently told a buddy of mine that you do have a choice, he didn't know either. Even after I said "Yeah, it pops up in the quest line on the screen: Enter the Keep with either Hadvar or Ralof."

We felt like idiots to say the least, lol...
