I too love the new underwater atmosphere. Although when I did first jump in, I thought the game had glitched. It does annoy me after a while though, and the blur gives me slight motion sickness :(

True. I'm bout to start heading North more closer to Windhelm and Winterhold to see any changes on the snow textures.

But yes water looks sweet now, more realistic looking. Tempts me to make an Argonian, lolz.

EDIT: Will say the game does feel smoother, in some senses. Textures are popping in on objects way quicker and they're not taking the 3 step process. (Where it loads the 1st layer, middle, then final layer). It's pretty much skipping the 1st layer.. heh.

i'm curious how water is different. because the grainy look IS realistic, since, you can't normally see underwater unless we chillin in the Caribbean, lol.

is it excessively clear and bright?

It's more blurry, like your eyes would be if you opened them underwater. It's harder to see farther down as well because of it.

Trying to get that Quill for Maven Black-Briar.. and it's becoming a challenge to say the least lol.

Lol. So I just had my 1st ever Archery killcam. It works in Sneak mode as well.

Went to Valtheim Keep to get this special Amulet for a Caravan Khajiit. Ended up bobbing and weaving with a Bosmer there and then went Sneak and finished him off.

It was like the arrow was a frikkin' LIGHTNING BOLT.. lol. It hit him and just sent him flying backwards SOOO far! <3

is it similar to fallout3's distance killcams?

Kind've. It doesn't quite literally follow the "bullet" like in F3. So no it doesn't follow your arrow by itself, but they are pretty cool nonetheless.

I was hoping for something like that ^

So much for Clear Mountian Spring Water. It is like swimming in dragon piss. I can't tell the difference between the clean lake and the city sewers.

Underwater looks great, and the killcams are fun, too.Only problem I have so far is that sometimes when a magic killcam activates it doesn't always finish off the enemy, sometimes they'll still be standing and coming at me with a warhammer while I can't move.It may be because the difficulty is on master.Although I'm glad to see they finally fixed that transparent water surface bug thing.

so, we have swimming in dragon piss vs underwater greatness. which is it?

and, having KILLcams that are occurring when, you know, killing isn't taking place along with frozen player-characters, is about as buggy a 'fix' i can think of.
