Guide to become a God using cheatsexploits

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 11:14 am

First save game in case you make a mistake... Drink a Restoration Potion and all unequipped enchanted items will get buffed... Equip a peice of alchemy enchanted apparel... Make a second restoration potion... Take off alchemy equipment... And repeat until the potion gets over 300000% buff or over 1000000% buff... Now use that potion to make as many smithing and enchanting potions as you can... Use the enchanting potion to make one peice of smithing/alchemy enchanted apparel... And use the rest of those enchanting potions to make godly equipment...

Notes:
1. If you use enchanting potions that are too powerful it will not work because it goes into the negatives which is why you stop at 300000%-1000000% restoration potions.

2. Another exploit to help get the materials for this is buying all needed ingrdients from arcadias cauldron... selling her potions to get the money spent back... saving the game... killing her and then loading the saved game to reset her shop... this works with all shops except for some like ethnirs in winterhold college.

3. Another exploit to maximize this exploits potential is the wearing as many (different) sets of equipment as you want glitch ...you do this buy putting all your apparel (except shields/weapons) in a barrel in the whiterun barracks... wearing the first set of armor pickpocket one of the guards until you are arrested... break out of jail and put on your next set of armor... pickpocket the guards until you get arrested and repeat until you have got arrested with each set... instead of breaking out serve your time and you will come out wearing all apparel you were arrested in... this certain exploit does not allow you to save the game in the middle of the process so you must do it perfectly and save once the process is complete.

4. Another exploit that may help is the ohgma infinium book glitch... get the book... open any chest... read book and drop it in chest before leaving the menu... pick the book out of the chest and repeat until level 100 in all skills.

5. Exploit to get to level 18 at start of game is to attack havard or rolaf in the cave with the bear while sneaking until sneak is lev 100 (use a dagger and don't wake the bear until sneak is 100... takes 10 minutes)

I am only making this guide so that these exploits can be fixed proffesionally and hopefully they add talent/perkreset options so that we can have fixed characters in addition to a fixed game... it seems ive only gotten this to work so far using 5 peices of enchanting apparel including circlet/falmers helmet with 29% alchemy on them I will test further

edit - So i tried the exploit with 5 peices of 8% enchanted alchemy equipment and only 2 points in the first alchemy perk and it worked but it took about 25-30 potions I might be able to do it with one less perk

It is a single-player game, not multiplayer; so why do you care how other people level up and play their game? Don't like the exploits, don't do them.

Since we're on the subject of cheating, I hear there's a way to get two hirelings at once. Anybody know how? Can't watch youtube on here.

I dont know about the 2 hirelings but i heard about a dog... also I do not care about how others play there game but I do care about how me and my brothers play the game... I hate giving my brothers advice and then telling them the next day their characters are ruined and they need to make new ones because you spent all your points in useless perks.... did they make a new character? no. do they play the game anymore? nope...

Why do you and your brothers feel compelled to exploit an obvious bug? The game can already be trivialized by using just Smithing and Enchanting; toss in Alchemy for extra absurdity. The Resto Pot bug is truly game-breaking (and obviously unintended.)

As has been stated in this forum ad nauseum, this is a single-player game. How you choose to play it doesn't affect me one bit. I am, however, interested in the psychology driving many people to demand that Bethesda fix various bugs because they're otherwise incapable of restraining themselves from abusing loop-holes.

Are you former WoW players, compulsively driven to min/max at all costs?

I do not know why other people do it... I do it however because I hardly have any time to play and when I do I want to get as much accomplished as I can in the few hours I have to play....

Exploits like these only ruin the game for people that use them. If you want items that 1 shot every mob out there, it's your progative.

I would rather they spend their time fixing real issues.

Do you enjoy one-shotting everything and being invincible? PC users can enjoy god-mode much more easily by using the console than by abusing the Resto Pot bug.

If you're on a console and want to enjoy a close approximation of god mode, I suppose the Resto Pot bug is the easiest way to do it. Seems like a quick way to get bored with the game, but to each his own.

I'm a current WoW player, as well as playing this game. I'm not "driven" to play WoW in any given way (other than REFUSING to PvP.... eww....) nor am I "driven" to play this SPMR game (single-player machine-resident [more or less, since steam is involved now *SIGH*]) in any way other than that which I personally enjoy. So no, I'm not min/maxing at all....

And I don't see what

I do not know why other people do it... I do it however because I hardly have any time to play and when I do I want to get as much accomplished as I can in the few hours I have to play....

has to do with what Whisk3yjack asked, you know. If all you're interested in is getting as much playtime as you can when you HAVE the time, why on EARTH are you worried about something like this? Jeez.

You can make a useless character in this game? And here's me thinking they implemented multiple difficuly levels for a reason.

Ok that pertains to me I do enjoy one shotting everything and having unlimited carryweight and running through the game as quickly as possible on master mode... however it affected my brothers in a negative way and I would rather have them enjoy a fixed game than me just running through their game and beating it for them... I feel like I stole their happiness or something...

Wait, so you stole your brothers save, exploited to god mode and then saved over his game?

If they put a cap on each skill's effectiveness at however effective that skill would be when fully perked and at 100, almost all these issues would be fixed.

I'd like it if:

You are the best possible sneak at 100 sneak + all sneak perks
You are the best possible blocker at 100 block + all block perks
You make the best possible improvement of a weapon at 100 smithing + smith perks
You have the greatest spell cost reduction for destruction at 100 destruction + destruction perks
Etc.

This way enchant and alchemy can still be ridiculously powerful (they don't need cheats to be ridiculously powerful) but they cannot allow you to exceed complete mastery of other skills. I'm fine if there are ways to exceed that mastery through quests and unique items though.

To clarify, I played WoW for 5 years, so I'm not disparaging former/ current MMO players. It's just one theory behind what might be driving this compulsion to min/max in a single-player game.

In a competitive multi-player setting, you have to min/max if you want to compete. Otherwise, you'll lose, whether it's on the DPS chart in a raid or in PvP. It seems like a lot of Skyrim players have carried that mentality over into this game, which makes absolutely no sense given that it's single-player.

Just a theory, mind you, and it clearly doesn't pertain to either of us.

No, we all have different characters... I meant we haven't beaten the game yet and the only one who is enjoying it now is me... They were enjoying the game playing at their own pace until i started exploiting it... they noticed I was leveling up faster than them while playing less than they were... They did the Ohgma Infinium glitch... ended up with them ruining their perks and not playing anymore.

Heh. Really doesn't apply to me, since I play WoW as a solo game.... I'm not.... social.... or cooperative....

So you want Bethesda to patch this exploit out because you consciously chose to abuse the bug, which in turn ruined the game for your brothers?

You've admitted that playing on "god mode" is fun for you. Why should Bethesda remove that possibility for other like-minded players then?

It wasn't Intended and I beleive it should be proffesionally removed possibly with additional content like options to reset perks or talents, or even end game godly loot....

You know.... I really think Beth probably doesn't have ANY interest in "fixing" something that's not borked. If you don't have the will power to avoid this sort of thing, well that's rather your own problem isn't it?

Grow some self-restraint. Seriously. I very much know how to "cheat" and "exploit" quite a few things in this game and I don't. I don't see why you can't control yourself enough not to go through some extended manipulation to supe-up your character.

^^^

Same here. I have two children and I work full time. I get maybe a couple of hours a day to play, so yes, I "abuse" the exploits in the game so I can finish the game faster. Like everyone else has stated, does it really bother you that much that Bethesda left in "exploits" and cheats? It's pretty simple, DON'T USE THEM. Its like finding cocaine or something. Just because you know its there, doesn't mean you HAVE to use it, now does it? Personally, I like the fact that Bethesda leaves in these cheats and exploits. That's a reason why I purchase their games. The most important being that I love their games, period.

Since Bethesda games has a huge community, someone will I'm sure make a mod that will fix exploits in the game, so you don't feel so compelled to use them :P And if you want to get really technical on the game, why reload a save if you die? I mean after all isn't reloading a save game essentially cheating? Your character died, so you should start all over! :P

I'm using 4 sets of Enchanted Armor and Jewelry.

But first you will have to get 100 Enchant. Really easy for me.
Then enchant your Armor,Jewelry,Ring. With 25% Alteration cost less. Adding up to 100% with all 4 sets. Now go increase your Illusion Skill up to 70. Really easy *again for me* Lol

Then go to College of Winterhold. Buy Paralyze Spell. Now you will be able to cast Paralyze with no Magicka Cost. It will ruin the game completely because no one will be able to attack you.
