I had to kill my wife, Ysolda

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 9:24 am

Had to be done. Doesn't matter if she was my wife, skooma and whatever that sap crap is, goes against my characters morals. Her decapited body is still in street, despite me going to prison for several days. And I don't regret it. Anyone else done something like this, that your character stood for something so much, he did something so drastic?

I'm a little curious as to why your character thinks skooma (or sleeping tree sap?) use/possession is bad enough to justify murdering his/her wife.

And no, not really. I wanted to kill Delphine and Esbern, but decided to simply ignore them. They weren't worth the time or bounty.

Wow, ok. "you enjoy eating natural grown substances and feeling a buzz, that goes against my strict zero tolerance for drugs policy, you leave me no choice but to choose the high moral ground and brutally decapitate you in the middle of the streets of Riverwood in front of children."

how did you all find out she does skooma? I've played this game for upwards of 200 hours and never found any indication...

She doesn't. She sells the Sleeping Tree Sap and deals with Kahjit Caravans. She's a poor Imperial Sprit locked in a Nords Body. Well done to the OP for freeing her of her burden.

I'm pretty sure she is. She's tall like a Nord. Seems to have some of the same features as Njada Stone-Arm and Stylgia as well.

yeah, i think they basically revamped nords in skyrim, they've lost the square faces and smoker's voices, but they have bigger legs and arms, they feel a lot more "human" than they used to do, as for the females of th race, there like the cyrodillic imperials, quite elegant, nice hourglass figure, very nice :)

however if ysolda hasent got a bit of imperial in her then im a dragon

btw, can you get "cross breeds" in the came, omg that sounds a bit racist but the races are ENTIRELY differant, so you cant really be like african-american or anything...ow wait i suppose you could be "redguard-blackmarsh" :P

i swear you do get people in the game who have a bit of a mix in the old race department, there was that guard in bruma (back in OB) , he had like imperial body, but black/green skin, i reckon he was some sort of ...i dunno redguard-argonian-imperial mix up?

She's always standing next to Carlotta, an Imperial. I forgot how much shorter she is, but it should be noticable.

Not really the child will be the same race as the mother. But all of the non-beast races all have children together as far as I know.

Uh...no, I can't say that wanton murder because my girl deals with shady cat-folk is something my Paladin would support.

My character became deeply depressed from all the killing and the complete lack of dwarves to cheer him up. He murdered his beloved companion Aela with a pick axe and then jumped off a cliff to kill himself.

I married ysolda in a previous playthrough so I feel lime I should marry someone else. Aela maybe. But ysolda is so damn sweet.. I could care less if she sells skooma or sap. I mean there are no bad side effects to skooma at all and sap isn't that bad anyway. If she was ended up being a crack head then that would be a different story.

You killed her because of a cultural difference? Skooma is allowed in the land of Khajiit, but the Empire doesn't like it. These people travelled far from the warm sand sof Elsweyr, to the cold, desolate wastelands of Skyrim. Give them a break :P

You forget that while the Sap does make you high, how many other medicines have similar or worse side-effects? Since the sap increases health, don't you think it could be used as a form of medicine since not being allowed into cities would mean medical supplies would be low for them. Essentially, you killed someone who was likely giving medicine to the caravans and now she's dead. Hope your happy with yourself  :stare:

Kinda funny the whole Skooma thing. A concoction that gives you 25 points of stamina with no negative side effects is stigmatized vs ale/wine of several varieties which can give a bit more stamina but has a whole other negative side effect to it. I suppose it's a lot like real life where something is outlawed or considered dirty for asinine reasons......

....or rather, reasons involving big business which dictates life for the common man/woman
