hardcoe healing + caesar's legion

Van Buren isn't canon. The only way something from Van Buren will be considered canon is if it's featured in New Vegas, or in a future [official] Fallout game.

It's Caesar, the founder of Caesar's Legion. Not the old Caesar (unless we're talking about Julius Caesar), just the same Caesar.

I've actually been under the theory that Van Buren "Already happened", airquotes. Van Buren seemed to deal heavily with the NCR's conflict with the BOS, but by the looks of things, especially that it seems that the BOS are under the NCR's thumb, it looks like the conflicts already passed.

Actually, from the 'leaked' New Vegas intro,
Spoiler
it sounds like NCR and CL just stalemated into a temporary cease-fire that's lasted about 4 years. CL has stayed on their side of the Colorado river, and NCR on their's, and CL has been beefing up for another round.

That's not what I mean. I mean any information from Van Buren cannot be canon until it's presented in a future Fallout game (i.e. New Vegas). So the stuff that happened in Van Buren could have happened, but it's not officially canon until it's presented in New Vegas and/or the next Fallout game(s). I'm positive that a lot of the info from Van Buren is going to be recycled into New Vegas, and thus the events did take place though. Just at the moment we can't accept info from Van Buren as canon as it may conflict with lore provided in New Vegas.

Maybe one of the ways to solve the conflict is to make the NCR and CL come to a peaceful agreement in effect joining both camps and bringing peace to the area. Highly unlikely but we don't know yet. Ok so its 99% not going to be the case that you can join both but I'm in a humoring mood...

Why not add the ability to use crutches in the game? Could help you walk faster when your leg is broken.

I WOULD LOVE CRUTCHES!! You'd have to stop moving to pull out your gun and shoot and then hobble away from the big horns, man. I think it'd be a hilarious addition. Just not a very savy one as it even sounds difficult to pull off.
