I hate Cazadors.

I hate Cazadors. Feel free to imagine this entire post liberally sprinkled with the most offensive garbage you can think of.

On Easy or Very Hard. On Normal or hardcoe. At level 3 or at level 30. With a 9mm or a Riot Shotgun. With a 10 Guns or a 100 Guns. With a Vault jumpsuit or Tesla Power Armor. It doesn't matter what I'm wearing, what level I am, the Perks I've chosen, or the weapons I'm using...

I. HATE. CAZADORS.

I think I hate them more than Deathclaws. More than anything else.

That is all. I must. Must. Say this. And since nobody I know would have any idea what I'm talking about, I had to post it here.

There is no emoticon to convey the hate that burns inside me.

They are a pain, but I think that's the point. Oh, and it's "cazadores," like the tequila. :D

Cazadores hit just as hard as deathclaws, except they come in packs, are a quarter the size, and fly.

HATE them.

I agree completely.

Good job. You made a rant not about the glitch's, freezes, crash's, and the amount of hatred you have towards Fallout:NV,but about something we all agree on.

I approve of this rant.

No need to rampage on a hatredge(spelling?) of cazadors but they are not that hard (or you just hate them because of other reasons). Now I've heard that Cazadors are a pain, but they are actually not a pain (to me) because if you are a sharpshooter, then you will be able to shoot them. If you are a high level, and you have powerful weapons, they will not be a pain. (everyone has opinions though, so it doesn't matter if you hate cazadors(many people) or like cazadors(me and some other people in the world that I probably don't know)

But look at my signature :flame: I expect there is a Cazador leader somewhere in the United States' Wasteland.

Shoot their wings in VATS or use the Laser RCW.
Seriously, the Laser RCW is the best weapon I've used against them.
The second best is Pushy, an unarmed weapon, it's great against cazadores as long as you can time the strong punch right.

Sorry to say this, but the only time I really had an issue with them was the very first time I found them. Ever since then I automatically know what they are when I see them on my radar and either avoid them or just kill them.

I mainly use either my varmiant (sp?) rifle with night scope and silencer or my cowboy repeater. If they get to close I pull out my caravan shotgun with coin shot. it works wonders. I did notice that it got easier when my guns skill was above 50, not sure if any other skill helped, but once I was over level 15 and gun skill above 50 things started to get easier.

Unfortunately I deleted everything(saves and the game) to see if that would help with all the freezes and corrupted save files, before I was able to reinstall and start over system died RROD :( 4+ weeks without

HMMM my experience with them has been quite easy actually.. I discovered that sniping them at their wings helps and having Lily run in with her sword is good too....... Unfortunately I can't say the same about Deathclaws... Lily goes down in seconds with them and fights with them become a matter of luck (can I reach a place they can't before the reach me in 3 seconds?)

10 mm sub-machine gun. I go through a lot of 10 mm ammo, got rid of the pistols and give the 9 mm SMG to my companion.

Takes em' down pretty well even on lower levels. As some have said the wings are a good tartget but it's not that hard to waste em'.

I never use VATS so maybe that helps I dunno.

Cazadores are fine if your fighting a few and your a decent level. It's just when the come in packs I hate them the most. Plus the poison and their hits when they come in groups literally destroys any type of armor I wear =\

the only things that i think are bad is ther poison and how if they are in a swarm thats a lot of poison. + Deathclaws are easy to evade and snipe/ ru and gun.

I wish I could craft a flamethrower out of a lighter and a can of bug spray. That'd show 'em.

Disclaimer: Don't craft a flamethrower out of a lighter and a can of bug spray IRL.

A lighter and some binaca fast blast makes a nice 3 foot flame, you got me remembering my school days...back to cazadores though, I occasionally like to play with a rocket launcher and incendiary rounds, did a mega-pyro character that completely annihilated them real quick, just aim for a tight group.

When do you ever fight "a few" though? I've never seen less than 2 grownups and two young ones at once.

I've found that you can take them down much faster than a Deathclaw, not sure if this is due to less DT, less HP or both. They seem to do about as much damage per hit as a Deathclaw though.

You could have tried these Emoticons : :banghead: :flame: :swear:

I wonder if a specific type of ammo is better than others?

I keep an incinerator handy for all cazador related issues. Haven't met any yet but this seems like sound policy-making so far.

And I felt like a noob the first time I was playing and was dying by small little bugs. Yes they are pretty much deathclaws in their small, insect form

This. :D

What annoys me the most about them is that they're even more hyperactive than Bloatflies. Deathclaws at least stand around and let you snipe them - the stupid Cazadores just zoom back and forth taunting you. :yuck:
