That's what you get when you play it all the time. I take my time, and I have it since launch day, and I'm not even done, main quest just up to getting the horn so far, but have done the companions and thieves guild midway, and the mods just keep coming, my game just keeps evolving and will continue to do so even more after creation kit is out!

I myself am taking a break, After days and days and days or dragon killing, thieves helping, and of course killing all of markarth's guards because they s*ck, I needed a break.. but I am far from being finished.. Still have tons of quests to finish, kinda waiting until the 1.4 patch (hope it fixes quests), and lots of exploring..If you are bored I suggest go play something like MW3... then once you are tired of being killed around corners because of lagg, and hearing the usual 12 yr old say they own you... i'm positive skyrim will look good again

What should i do? Any ideas would be appreciated

Read a book? Go out for coffee? Learn an instrument? I'm pretty sure this game wasn't designed as a permanent life-experience surrogate.

OP actually created a thread to say he was bored, after spending a month completing the game....

I'm gonna start a thread about what I'm having for lunch, since it has about the same relevance.

tl: dr:
You finished the game, go play something else.

If you're on the PC, get some mods that allow for new playstyles; like those that allow you to enchant items with fortify shout, then play a character using only shouts or something :D

if you did all that in a month then your playing way too much in a day...you should go play life outside, there's infinite quests out there

Is Assassin's Creed: Revelations any good?

AC:R is great as a continuation of the AC storyline....... i would not recommend it as a stand alone game because you wont know why you are doing the things you do........

i found the overall story arch to be great, but to fully enjoy it you need to start with ac2... ac1 svcks and will probably turn you off to the series fi you play it......

Ive never seen a game forum (in my experience) where multiple threads get opened so people can say they have finished with the game .... it cracks me up.

Its like announcing to everyone on a train at the platform you got to the end of your destination .......... yes, umm .. thanks.

So after playing Skyrim for about 1 month, completing every guild and what seems hundreds of side quests, as well as the main quest, i have no desire whatsoever to play Skyrim again, it's just turned out to be boring. I have started new characters but i don't see the potential in playing through them anyway. I havn't touched the game in 3 weeks due to these problems aswell as horrible lagging and freezing problems. What should i do? Any ideas would be appreciated

Bored? Take a break. Fixed

tip- Level 30 is the endgame. Once your passed 30 everything seems so mundane and unneccessary

Mods- the solution (unless you are a console boy)

Really? I'm lvl32 and I feel like the game just started for me. I can finally do some serious smithing/enchanting/fighting and I don't have to reload every time I meet a party of more than two enemies.

It's not as good as Assassin's Creed 2. That was the best in the series so far. My advice is to get Assassin's Creed 2, you can get that for a steal right now. If you like it than get Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, which is the next in line, and then get Assassin's Creed Revelations.

Revelations isn't a bad game, just not as good as Assassin's Creed 2. The story line wil be more understandable if you play Assassin's Creed 2 first. Even though it's the second game in the series you'll still get an idea of what the game is about.
Is AC2 as repetitive as AC?

Fully doing all side misc and main quests while exploring all dungeons would definitly atleast take 200 hours or around that I would think.

You should take a break for a year or two then try it again once the expansion pack arrives.

Sounds like you got your money's worth OP...so whats the complaining for? If you got that much time on your hands then sure you're going to see everything the game intended you to see. Is this your first Bethesda game? You wait for mods, try those out if they are interesting enough, then eventually an expansion will come out, and you get that. That's pretty much it.

Dude, one month of playing a game and hundreds of hours of gaming time is more than most games offer. You got your money's worth.
^This - is so true. Also, I have around 250 hours and I haven't completed any quest lines yet. When I get bored, typically more of my overpowered character than the game itself, I create a new character and start from scratch trying to avoid the pitfalls that made me too powerful. Will I get bored of the game and put it away for a year or so? Probably. Still I got a lot more entertaining value for my money than most other games I buy.

I find it funny when people come on here, talking about pouring hundreds of hours into the game, and doing all of the main content, and then saying they are bored with the game, as if somehow that's the game's fault.

1.) If you're bored of the game, you can play something else. It's okay. I haven't played Skyrim in a couple weeks, following my accidental deletion of all my X-Box 360 game save files, and as far as I'm concerned - that's OKAY!

2.) It's obviously not -THAT- boring of a game if you were able to pour hundreds of hours into it, and get through all the main, beefy content of the game.

Sometimes you outplay a game and need a break. Happens to me all the time. Out of the 3 Elder Scrolls games I've played (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim), Skyrim is the only one that I've finished in one steady playthrough. Morrowind and Oblivion, I took breaks from both of them before "finishing". Hell, Oblivion, it took me until earlier this year to actually "finish" the game.

It's okay to step away from a game for a bit. And if you never play it again? That's fine too. But something tells me that you will, at some point.

Create a character who only discovers Riverwood and doesn't travel anywhere else. He shall stay at the Sleeping Giant Inn and he will chop wood daily until he has 10 million gold coins, given to him by Hod. He shall be an Elf called 'Wuud-a-Kutta' and will only eat potatoes and tomatoes. And drink ale.

nice.

I think you should play something else until Bethesda start rolling out the patches again after the holidays.
