This is about all the info I could find on it. Don't expect anymore than this I'm afraid until its time comes.

There's a conjuration skill book by the name of Hearthfire, although from memory it's related to events in the 2nd Era.

If you ask me, it's about the Thalmor. Hearthfire is the month before Frostfall, and it's in Frostfall that the Great War began. Perhaps a prequel to a war with the Thalmor - a war which would likely take place in Lore or TES VI.

With Oblivion, they made dlc for each character class, kind of. A warriors castle, the mage's tower, the thief's den and the assassin's lair. Maybe they'll do a dlc for some of the more neglected classes of Skyrim - Where's my vigilants of stendarr?>

I havent read the books in much detail, but a friend today INSISTED they were about Goblins, and so the DLC will be about Goblins.
Im not sure of this (and in all honesty, im far too tired to read them at this time of night) so can anyone back him up?
Also, im hoping for Tales and Tallows, if in the case Heartfire is actually sometimes called Hearthfire.

As others have said, it is the first two DLC that are timed exclusives. However, I would point out that we don't actually know that Hearthfire is the second DLC.

I've really got no idea what Hearthfire could be about. My instincts tell me that it's obviously something Bethesda has wanted to do, and/or intended to do with an earlier game, but never could. The 2920 series of books, Summoning Dates, random events. All these don't seem to have any linking thread between them, so with that in mind, I'll just take a shot in the dark, as a blind man, who also had his head replaced by a turnip.

Now remember, this is just hopefulness, nostalgia and speculation, but I think Hearthfire could be a Magic-centric Expansion that takes place in Mainland Morrowind. From Blacklight to Necrom. If spears are to make their debut in the next major expansion, Morrowind represents the obvious setting that would be fitting for their revival, given that Dunmer Tribals and Argonian Skirmishers favored these weapons.

You don't need spears to play this game pretty decently. Anyway, Hearthfire is not for tomorrow.

The 8th of Hearthfire is the summoning day of Nocturnal. Not that this is likely to have any relevance to the dlc, but we have no information, only speculation.
the month is HEARTFIRE

Holiday from Daggerfall

Tales and Tallows - 3rd Hearth Fire (3rd September)

No other holiday divides the people of Tamriel like the 3rd of Hearth Fire. A few of the oldest, more superstitious men and women do not speak all day long for fear that the evil spirits of the dead will enter their bodies. Most citizens enjoy the holiday, calling it Tales and Tallows, but even the most lighthearted avoid the dark streets of Tamriel cities, for everyone knows the dead do walk tonight. Only the Mages Guild completely thrives on this day. In celebration of the oldest magical science, necromancy, all magical items are half price today.

I hope they dont make it about magic unless the psijic order is involved. Magic was just so bland and boring in Skyrim, I couldnt take much more of it.
