Probably not, since they would have likely shown new child races in the trailer if they added them.

Or possibly a Breton, Redguard, or Imperial child if the option exists, since those are in the main game too. Hard to tell the difference between them, though.

Like everyone else said, It's a near 0% chance of happening, the most we can hope for is Bethesda take notice of everyone wanting this and use it in the future

If they did have Khajiit Cubs, I would probably have to steal them even if they couldn't be adopted

I admit, I'd like to see kids in other races as well, preferably adoptable ones. I have a Khajiit, and he'd like to settle down with a nice girl Khajiit and raise a little Khajiit. And I have a Dunmer who'd welcome a Dunmer kid (though she married a Nord, so she'd be OK with adopting one).

Still, we wanted house-building, and we got it. We wanted adoption, and we got it. So Bethesda does pay attention to requests. If there are no mer/beast kids in Hearthfire, there will be in other DLC's. The adoption mechanic could work with them, too.

have you notice that there are only like 3 different boys and 2 girls character models? I would like everyone to look different including the children.

I don't know why the devs didn't think of a new child races. They probably had other great ideas, but the Microsoft contract that was shoved down their throats, is probably preventing them from really adding stuff.

Microsoft never speculated when the dlcs had to be realized you know, only thats its exclusive for a bit, so them not adding mer/beast children or exttra marriage options or anything is not microsofts fault, it would be bethesdas

Pretty much this. The Redguard children have a slightly different skin tone, which is ridiculous considering how much difference in skin tone there is between advlt Redguards and other human races in Skyrim.

One can only hope that they added a few extra child races, but we'll have to wait and see. It'll at least be easy to tell on Tuesday what the conclusion will be, anyway, that is pretty much a given.

They're adding the option to adopt. Not new NPC's (as far as I know).

You really should be able to adopt all races of children, but it most likely won't happen. But if bethesda did add children of all races it would be great. And hey they have tried to keep a bunch of content a secret (werewolfs as an example) before, so you never know.
