All minor, minor glitches. I wouldn't worry.

Minor glitches should not happen in a 60.00 game after 2 patches especially since it didn't happen in my game until after the 1.3 patch and especially since this is the GOTY (VGA)

Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas all send their regards.

And to be honest, Bethesda could release a game where you do nothing but shovel poop. No main quest, No story, just poop shoveling, and it would get GOTY because it's a Bethesda Release.

Fixed.

Also, Bethesda is of Nubian origin, so these mind tricks fail to deter them. They'll patch this before the game is made stable.

They're not bugs, they're Features. You should be thanking Bethesda for adding them after launch.

If you think you're ever going to get a Bethesda game without bugs, you have another thing coming.

Their games are HUGE. It's not a case of "test this level, does it work". After every patch is released and they've moved on, there will still be bugs.

The ones you've shown are all really, really minor. Quest bugs or engine level bugs are a lot more serious.

Not to mention when the CK is released, a LOT of these will be fixed. The latest UOP (Unofficial Oblivion Patch) fixed what, over 2000 bugs? We will be lucky to see Bethesda fix even 100 bugs.

Hello Mr Rum!

But yes such a game of this size bound to have bugs, the thing that gets me the most was the timing of release, just before the holidays :(
Knowing that the game will have bugs, and then releasing it and going on holiday, which is well due for them as I'm sure they worked
very hard to get it out on the special date. But business wise, not very smart, maybe could have planned to hire some part time coders / skeleton staff
to get out some small hot-fixes for the game breaking crashes or what not.
Anyway, there's my two cents (rant) :)

The point is that this didn't happen until after the 1.3 patch. I played 250 hrs before the patch and didn't have any issues like this. Now I'm getting glitches all over the place. Yes I know modders will fix is but damn, don't you think Bethesda should be responsible for owning their own bugs/glitches etc. And just maybe Bethesda should pay the modders for fixing their broken game.

Hey now, let's not give Bethesda any non-game-breaking bugs to fix so they have an excuse not to spend time on the actual game-breaking ones.

Both those errors were in since launch, you just didn't happen to have them until now. Chill out... big game like this, this kind of stuff happens. Been that way since open-world RPGs began and will be like that for all time. Why? Because companies can't pay for years worth of QA, or for a million testers.

Sounds like someone has never played any Bethesda games before. Minor things like people sticking up out of the ground are relatively normal.

And every patch they release seems to break the latest wide screen gaming mod so that it has to be rewritten. I will bet the LAA patch that is due will break surround gaming again.
Honestly, I expected bugs and annoyances, this is a console port after all, but I really think that the big issue was their 11.11.11 advertising, they were not ready but they had to release anyway. Perhaps the next ads should read, "and all fixed by 11.11.12
Still, it is a great game.

1.3 didn't break that. I still use 1.1 and have never patched my game with 1.2 or 1.3. I have both of those effects in my game. The guy in the ground is just somewhat amusing, but easy to disregard. The dragon skeletons suddenly appearing in various places where they have been killed is mildly annoying, but still easy to disregard. I'm sure that stuff will get fixed eventually. It'll just take some more time.

Minor glitches happen to NASA computers... Billions of dollars in software and hardware...

GOTY on VGA... VGA is hardly a game authority. It is a kid with an opinion, and a big wallet, hungry for Bethesda advertisemant funding. VGA is the dishwasher of the gaming industry. An editorial that steals every-one's blogs, and rewrites them as if they have an actual original opinion on something game related.

For the record, if you are curious to know what happened... That person was probably walking around in your LOW LOD background, and remained on the low LOD surface, which sits below the ground in that scenery. They just didn't hop-up, when the LOD started drawing the close-range LOD land. I guarantee that they will not be stuck forever... No need to start digging her out. This happens if you see people at the max setting. Turn down your character-view to about 8 or 9... and turn-up your detail level of the game one notch, so the ground is there for them to walk on, where you see them in the distance. (As opposed to the ground objects popping-in to view at close range, burring the distant walking people in the ground or rocks.)

As for the dragon... It is dropped all over the place... Expect them to land on houses, over walls, in the water, stuck in trees... They should fade away eventually.

:)

I had the re-appering Dragon corpse in White Run......pain in the rear, kept getting in my way...one day i had enough and started firing "Fire ball" at it, great physics jumps and flops around, Hit it with a double blast and it sailed WAYYY off into the distance. Haven't seen it since.
