I think it's possible to see a DLC that takes place in at least part of Morrowind, it would be awesome to go back there and see everything that's changed...

As much as I love the idea of going back to Morrowind with an HD upgrade (I mean, I reinstalled Morrowind just after getting Skyrim, God I didn't realize how ugly that game was), I don't think it'll happen. As has been stated repeatedly: every game is usually one province. To make a whole other province to the level of detail TES players have come to expect, Team Bethesda would have to give up eating, sleeping, and marital bliss for some time in order to just get all the TREES put in the right place.

Who in Morrowind wielded spears? You mean Vvardenfell?
I'm pretty sure he meant Morrowind. You know that game that came out before Oblivion?

Judging from comments made by NPCs in Skyrim, some Dunmer don't even seem to realize their home was destroyed.

Oh yeah, I'm sure the Dunmer in the Grey Quarter are having a jolly old time, why would they go back to Morrowind?! They are having so much fun in Skyrim!

As per my previous post, suggesting to move back to Morrowind doesn't illicit a response that is consistent with the lore. He won't move because it would be "too much of a hassle."

to the people saying stuff like "most games are only one province so DLC won't add morrowind"
i have to say, as games get better they SHOULD add more.
oblivion added little shivering isles, skyrim should add at least parts of morrowind.

hoping bethesda shows the gaming world what DLC should be like no BS $15 for 3 small maps, a whole province or $15 or even $30 would be amazing.

Morrowind the game didn't take place on the main land, but the island of Vvardenfell, which was part of the Morrowind province...

I certainly hope so, i miss those huge mushrooms, i really do. Besides, we've let the barbaric lizard slaves run around our ancient homeland for long enough, someone's gotta drive them away i suppose :/

I really think that it would be amazing to walk around the remnants of Vvardenfell with this better engine, and maybe even have the rest as well. as far as Im concerned I would happily pay a good amount for that. not to mention the storyline they could put in with it.

Keep in mind that 160 years has passed since the red mountain eruption and argonian invasion. Some of the dunmers have skyrim as they home now (indeed this is the reason for not returning to Morrowind one of the refugees in Winterhold give you when asked). I'm not saying that I had anoliced the events to go to that conclusion I am saying that comments from some dunmers suggest Morrowind is again in dunmer hands.

Like I JUST said on another thread, I'd love to re-visit Solthsiom. (spelling haha)

Actually seems like it would fit really well but I have NO idea what they intend to do.

Yeah...Too bad the island and most of morrowind was obliterated eh? Kind of puts the nails in the coffin of your idea.

In differnce to the other directions which have just unpassable barriers, visible and invisible, there is a gate leading south with no map symbol that cant be accessed.
Dont know what is to the south of Skyrim in Tamriel though.

I think it could be possible that those land masses are there so that they could accurately create and fit Skyrim into the big mix of things.

That doesn't explain the gate and path though.

Maybe a southern Morrowind Expansion, stuff that might be too big for a DLC but too small for a full sized game.

Yeah, I saw that too. One line of dialogue does not an DLC make. There are tons of vague references like this. The only thing left of Morrowind is southern morrowind.
