Hooded Red Robes

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 6:30 am

Yes, It's the first shop to the right, right before Bits and pieces, it's a clothes shop. I'v never gone their myself, but I hear it has a good amount of clothes. I forget the exact name of the shop though.
The shop is called Radiant Rainment.

It's the only 'official' source of Chef clothes, Redguard apparel and a few other garments... short of killing an NPC of course.

In opening topic he says "Not talking about the Mythic Dawn Robes" and he provides a youtube link to what they look like.

I was trying to be helpful, i missed that part of the OP.
there is no need to correct me after i already editted my post saying 'nvm' signifying that i made a mistake.

Nah. They do have mourner's, redguard, college robes, and chef, but other than that, they only have the really common stuff.

im starting to think Bethesda hates mages heavy armor gets daedric light armor gets dragon armor and mages we get a freaking PONCHO!!!!!! not to mention there's 3 unenchanted robes and 1 unenchanted hood in the game which skill is the mages crafting skill? that's right enchanting you can use it on 3 robes and 1 hood and they do not match YAY!!! :(

Yeah, I like the Novice-Apprentice-Adept-Expert set, look wise, but you can't find the unechanted version anywhere. Even College robes are just a dupe of Master Robes.

And gloves. Theres one shop in the entire world that sometimes sells non-armor gloves. Otherwise you have to loot them off semi-rare hunter NPCs (they don't all have them) or the Thalmor ones.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Hooded_Red_Robes#Hooded_Red_Robes - UESP has it on the list

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8PF2_roPkc - This video shows the robe at 2:14

I have also read accounts of it being on the game guide.

Why are they called red robes when clearly only the hood is red in the video?

By far the nicest attire in the game is sheogorath's.

Without spoilers, do you know where in solitude?

I think he's talking about Radiant Raiment. They sell some more varied clothing types in there which you won't find elsewhere.

Meh. I'm looking for brown, green, grey, red, or embellished robes from the video. Raiment is trash, mostly.

I'm thinking most of these (as others have said) in the video are not in the game. Strange. Maybe we'll see 'em in DLC.

if you're on PC try coc qasmoke

it'll take you to a testing area; there's a chest there with all the clothes found in the game.

If you're on a console, you're out of luck unless it's included in a DLC.

I've gotten some Psijic stuff without use of console codes; it seems to be a 'rare' drop from a leveled list (one character has a hood and another a robe), and I've only gotten it with characters above level 50, at which point the lists top out. Many of the others I've never seen in-game, and am not sure if they even are or not.
