It used to be that all the beer companies, not just Busch, had a hitch. I worked one summer with the Michelob Belgians. One of their boys was 18.2, which is flipping ginormous. Still, I'd rather work with the big boys than with a little bitty ill-tempered Arab. ANY horse is big enough to squash you against a wall or kick your brains in. The difference between 800 lbs and 1600 is the difference between big enough to squash you and big enough to squash you.
Q.F.T. When my paint was a baby, I helped out at the stable where we kept him. I mucked stalls, cleaned water barrels, fed, acted as vet assistant - you name it I did it. One of the mares was a PURE you-know-what when she was in heat. I finally took to carrying a pitchfork when I went into her stall. Unfortunately, though she wasn't big, she was snake-fast.... and I didn't dodge as fast as I should have. I was bruised like I'd been in a 50-car non-terminal pile-up....
