Waiting anxiously to hear Todd Howard has been fired or resigned.

No other "surprise" would be as fulfilling.

I'm doing absolutely nothing to prepare. I haven't even updated my game to 1.4 yet. And until every single mod I play has been updated and the bugs worked out, I won't.

Apart from the 1.4 part, this. I won't uninstall all my mods (quite a few in the meantime). I will wait and see...I still have Jagged Alliance 2 1.13 on a new playthrough, just installed Kings Bounty - Legends again, first started Bastion and have about 10 other games on my waiting list. So some days without Skyrim won't hurt :).

Not much, really. I generated new .ini files, and removed an unstable mod. Other than that, passing time :)

The "surprise" is almost definitely a high res texture pack.

People used this same method to figure out what games are in the humble indie bundles and the like, and never got it wrong.

I last played Skyrim on january 1st (with 161 hours) and I've been wanting to come back to it for a week now but since I heard about today's release I've been holding my horses.

The wait is almost over.

Today's the big day and the biggest thing I can say is that I hope people are thrilled with the CK and the surprise. :) I'm looking forward to using the very talented modders' mods and learning more about it. I do have a couple in mind that I'd like to try...there sure has been a lot of talk about it on the gamer sites. I'll be patient and download later to avoid the initial rush and I hope it all goes well!! :tes:

Nothing.

It's a modding tool.

I already got mods.

Eventually I'll get more.

Waiting is a wise choice, steam will probably crash today.
