Also, fix the damn menu system. This is the most tedious bunch of scrolling ever. Of my 40 hours spent in this game I probably been in menus for 5 to 10 hours. And what's with the animations? Did a high schooler program that for you? If you sneak around people will have the most ridiculous patrols walking into walls and standing right next to without seeing you. Sure there's alot to do but it's all horribly implemented. Why not take out have the garbage and focus on what's important. No cares about no roll of paper, tankard, or worn out clothes. Grow a pair an take risks with your gameplay not with the stability of the game.

I love Skyrim there is just some questionable design choices to it that need to be addressed. I hope the bugs in Skyrim are fixed. I hope with any future Bethesda title they take some extra time to evaluate the bugs and eradicate them. Buy yes I will buy the next great Bethesda game. I

I'll happily pay full price on day one. Bugs/technical misgivings and all, it's still the best bang for the buck bar none!

I've always had a few (minor) issues since Morrowind, but I have never not been able to play any of the TES/Fallout series.

I just know better, and get the PC version. I can rely on the community to fix, and improve the game. I don't have to wait for Bethesda, then MS/Sony.

Nah, no more day one purchases from Bethesda for me. If I do buy another one of their games it'll be a used game from Walmart for like $4 or less. I am sure Todd Howard will claim Elder Scrolls VI will run smooth on the PS4 and they'll be able to fix bugs on the fly or something but this time I wont believe his promises.

Also the music is really good. That said if you took out the music the immersion would be killed by finicky gameplay and pop in and pop outs. And what's with the swimming mechanic. Seriously that the best you got, what is this the original tomb raider with a winking camera, sometimes I can't tell if I'm in or out water. And jeez, the dragon animation. They have all of 3 attacks and are a jittery mess, weird right angle turns. What te hell kind of creature flies like that. The draw distance is nice though even if the farther away objects look like simple elementry school geometry shapes. If the gameplay was actually any good Bethesda would use if for their commercials.

My interest in games Is steadily declining as I increase in age. I'm 28, married and about to finish college. I am starting to become heavily career focused. My interest and hobbies are also changing, I find myself wanting to experience more. In short, I go with the flow of the currents of time and the ebb and flow are steadily pulling me away from fantasy and into reality.

I would. Pre-order, too. At least for pc.

I haven't run into that many glitches or problems. And for the majority of them all I needed was a reload. I've had a few crashes, and admit most of them in the beginning were my fault. Playing for a very long stretch of time without a break isn't good. Otherwise I think the only two quest glitches I ran into was one where the bird/fish/snake pylons wouldn't turn, and the dragon skeleton outside Whiterun slowly crept closer to the city everytime I fast traveled into or out of the area. Eventually it disappeared. I guess I'll have to log back into steam and download the patches, because I haven't bothered yet.

Ah, gotcha. I'm 40, and have none of those concerns. Gamer for life. (Though I'd happily give up a large percentage of my gaming time if it meant I could have a family. Maybe it's why I don't have one to begin with? :biggrin:

I don't know why people hate steam so much.. I enjoy pressing one button to take a screen shot and sharing it with friends.. the game is awesome imo if people hate it well they hate it i wouldn't know why they would come on the forums and tell other people about their dislikes.. isn't that what facebook is for?

If it's a title I'm waiting for, it'll be a game day release for me. I know what to expect and I can handle it. Bring on Fallout 4 in a couple of years and I'll be ready.

I won't be buying games from them for a few months, until I have confirmation (thought the forums, or borrowing the game) that it's actually.. you know.. good.
Note: I like Skyrim, for what it is, which is the last two games put together.. so.. not sure why I needed MorrOblivion 2.0

Now I am disappointed with balance in the game, but to say that I won't buy Bethesda games in future is a complete over-reaction.

But, I haven't discovered any of the game-breaking bugs on the PC, so I understand if the game is too unplayable for some people that they will be wary of future games by Bethesda.

Steam is fine....for those able & want to use it. But not everybody can. Steamworks AKA "protected by Steam" only protects the game from honest customers with no to slow internet.

Many people will buy future Bethesda games because their fanbase is so devoted. Just look at Skyrim for example. There are people that defend that game even though it's plagued with bugs and glitches.

Skyrim works great for me on high settings. I've only had 2 CTDs in 60 hours and have only experienced the book shelf bug. The carriage bug was not a bug; I was over encumbered.

So, would I buy another Bethesda game?

Yup. And I pre-order another $150 collector's edition too.
