I think that Beth will have no problems selling games in the future considering they could publish a game about filthy vikings in rural greenland, and get all the money from all the heavens. The only way the game could have sold more copies would have been to have told consumers that every 100 box they pushed out the door would have a 100$ bill taped inside of it.

Face it, TES is here to stay for a long time.

I really really hope that the few things that bother me about the general direction TES has been headed in since Oblivion will be rectified after the player feedback Beth is getting from Skyrim... IE: Bring back Spellcasting, varying run/jump speeds/heights, fall damage reduction, more weapons, deeper quests, etc. etc.

Further, I know for sure I will get TES 6. Heck, I'll preorder it 6 months in advance like I did Skyrim, and eagerly sit by the computer the night before release as the seconds click down to the moment I can click: "Download game" on steam.

In regards to stuff mentioned earlier in this post about Steamworks: Shouldn't we all wait until the bloody feature COMES OUT, before you start denouncing it?

Oh, there is ONE thing that will effect my buying of the next TES game though: Make sure it is released on a saturday. That way, gamers who hold jobs can do predownload on friday, get the game activated at midnight, and then play all we want the following night, and on into the morning.

It's funny how the game is universally praised, gets GOTY wins/nominations everywhere...

And we still get topics like this.

I will buy the game off them. so far i encounter bugs here and there but they are not really game breaking. i do hope they can release the CK at the same time with the game so modder can fix the game for them tho (also i am programmer myself so i may end up fixing some)

Whiney waaahhh waaah. Whiney waaah waaaaahhhh.

If you don't like the game don't play it, why do you keep playing the game and bothering to come here and cry like a baby if you hate it so much?

Trolls I say, nothing but jealous childish little trolls.

The only issue I'm having, is a few bugged quests (OH NO! I can't do 3 quests, I'll be forced only to enjoy the other 297 hours of gameplay until they can fix them!) and an abrupt CTD every 5-10 hours of play.

Skyrim is my #1 favorite game ever, and I will continue unquestionly buying games from BGS. My top 3 games are Skyrim, Fo3, and Oblivion. Hey, all made by BGS. :D :D :D

Maybe they'll just switch to "choose your own adventure" books. I can see it now...

You just woke up. You can now turn the page.
You turned the page. You can stay on this page or look at the next one.
You discover the next page. Give yourself a point.

I'll get the next release super cheap during a super Steam sale several years after it's release. Or maybe I just won't buy it at all considering Bethesda is more than happy to improve nothing in their several years of development, can't really expect much in the next release.

Well, that's not true, they've gotten a lot better at creating bugs.

everyone will buy from them. this generation doesnt care about quality control, quality itself, or...much of anything really. half the damn posts on this forum are people saying "i dont care". if you dont care, why are you here running your digital mouth?!

CoD continues to break sales records while producing lesser versions of the same game they released last year, stephanie myer is considered by far too many profitable demographics to be a professional writer, and mothers are pepper spraying people to get an xbox for their whiny, untamed children.

bethesda could palette-swap everything in this game, release it as a new game, and top the pre-orders of skyrim. hell, they could top the pre-orders by just ANNOUNCING a new game. when you could punch someone in the face and get them to pay you for it, why would you ever feel the need to improve your treatment of the customer? we live in the age of aloof hipsters, where nobody cares what they get from their entertainment and have no expectations because its just there to occupy the brief moment between tweeting what you had for lunch and texting to your girlfriend what you had for lunch.

as an american, i would like to apologize on behalf of my culture for spreading this behaviour to impressionable young minds the world over, but would like to assure you that it wont last forever. soon we will go the way of the romans as political and economic failure after failure weaken us so profusely that just like the visigoths, mexico could invade us and win if they were so inclined.

and then, the chinese renaissance will bring some balance back to the world. or spark crippling overpopulation that lowers the standard of living for virtually everyone. either way, the facebook generation dies, so im fine with it :ahhh: .

Bethesda's DLC is notorious for taking massive steaming dumps all over game stability, so i'll be cautious about that.

I'll just remember to not get it for PS3. Never played NV and I got Fallout 3 for 360 so this took me by surprised.

But still happy that I pre-ordered it cause the map looks awesome on my wall.
