How to be a light-weight

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 10:05 am

Effective online, but not offline because of the aimbotting...well, bots. Slides dont work, neither do wallhops. Their aim is perfect and there is no way to dodge their bullets at higher ranks.

I can do pretty well as a Light, and I'm yet to play online, so I know it's not the human players' lack of reactions making my dodging work.

Maybe my PS3 has managed to make the AI work smarter than most people? I don't know.

The majority of players I see are the light body type so where's this hate? Did you just make it up so you could tell us you've mastered Mirror's Edge and that you think you're amazing?

I've also not seen or heard any hate, the game seems to excel balance wise whilst still being awesome fun.For me personally i agree with Lynx, the light compromises my weapon choice too much but i do switch up alot between all body types and eventually seem to settle with medium/soldier as my current fave, also lvling up a hvy med though because i love the Lmg/Shotty loadout.
Interesting you mention self buffing, are you referring to switching class at the console because if so those buffs shouldn't stay, however i've not tested out every buff yet but give it a check.

my favorite prk about being a light body type is that i can rush in and revive one or two playes get shot down revive myself and revive one more person before being shot down and killed thus being useful in escort missions

I tend to tear through to an objective and stand my ground with allies buffing them so I use a Medium. The Heavy is just to big a target, slow, and clunky when it comes to parkour so I don't use that esp since I like to take the occasional shortcut when the objective is exceptionally far. Might try the Light though after reading this.

I like the Tampa SMG and the Sea Eagle for my lightweight although if the map has the right perches I'll switch over to a Barnett rifle. Light body types makes the best snipers since they can get to places other body types simply can't. Throw on a silencer and silent running and you're might as well be invisible.

What sort of hate have you received? I personally roll the exact same way and had planned on it since i heard about Brink way back when, Pretty much same set up as you, however i use the Bulpdaun SMG 4 attachments i too shall keep on the low and the DOOM skin to make it look pretty ^.-
As for secondary i rarely pull it out so i just use the Caesar Revolver.
