A good 10 minutes at least. He got me good, I was thinking that maybe I wasn't switching mine fast enough or something. Around 5 minutes of messing with the atronachs and I reloaded in case it was bugged and so I could hear what he tells you at the beginning again.
Pretty clever puzzle, but I got it eventually.
Same here. I was thinking I was using the wrong Antronachs to counter the other. I will admit after 10 minutes, I had to cheat and look on the wiki Very cleaver puzzle indeed.
First area I did was that one, and I saw them healing every time I shot. So I just let them fight. I got bored about 25 minutes in (was playing a few other pc games at the same time to kill time) and went off to do the other two areas. Came back, and a stray shot from the wabbajack ended it all for me. xD So I didn't figure it out, I got lucky.
that part didn't get me at all, had it done in a minute or so. the part with the miniature being beat up by the other two took me a good 5-10 minutes though...

for me it was the opposite, that part I had done in about a minuite.
yeah it definitely took me a few minutes. i tried changing the atronach to all different forms and realized the pokemon battle was not going to change. then out of boredom and confusion i wabbajacked the npcs across from me.
Took me a good amount of time. Reminds me of the dreaded spinning barrel in Sonic 3. Makes it look like you're doing the right thing, just not well enough.
As this was the first time I met Sheogorath, I didn't expect him to be more than a filler so I just tried to whack the atronarchs like I whacked the Anger and Confidence. I don't know how long but I'd say 20-30 times. Shot the armored dudes out of frustration.
5 or so minutes.. I felt so stupid, knowing Shero's behaviour... I thought it was like a rock/paper/scissor thing and simply wondered if I was to slow... out of frustration I started to shoot randomly and figured it out..
I've shoot them a bit to see all the combinations and then watched the fight when it was mine Frost Atronarch vs opponent's Flame Atronarch. I've let them fight a bit, but when I saw them healing, I thought that it was really irritating and wanted to shoot those guys just because of boredom... and I was right to do so. Anyway, there was no brains involved from me in that quest, just dumb luck.
Went straight to the guy in armor. At that point, it just made sense to me that you should do exactly what seemed wrong. I don't think that doing otherwise makes you stupid, though.
