You are aware that at level 81 any character has all the skills maxed out and fully perked?

Maybe you should ask how many skills one maxed when reaching lvl 50 instead.

Impossible.
There's only 81 perk points and like what? 200+ perks and perk ranks?

And I reached lvl 81. Cause I'm that good.

I have only maxed out one skill, Smithing and that was so I could see what Dragon Armor was all about. My main skills (2H, LA, EN) are in the 60 to 80 range, a few are in the 40 to 60 range (Sneak, Speech, Archery, Lockpick) and the rest are about what I started with. Which is about right for a Rogue character in this game.

I think he/she was referring to maxed out perks, not skills points. You max out all skill points at 81, not perks.

I don't really have any trees maxed out completely. I have some that are about 80%-90% maxed out, but I have not really found a tree that i wanted every stingle perk on that I did not think could be used more wisely on something from another tree instead.

Only 2 at the moment, smithing and enchanting. I'm lvl 46 and I envisage that in the end I will have 2H, block and heavy armour maxed out too. Then I'll move on to light armour and maybe 1H. Alchemy, speech and archery should be maxed by that time too.

So, about 10 trees maxed out in the end game for me. I don't see myself converting to magic though.

No i wasn't aware of that as beth said there is no level cap, and when i referred to skills being maxed out i wasn't talking about all perks being used.

I asked the question i wanted to ask, maybe you should attempt to answer it without such a condescending tone.

3 so far on my main after 200 hours: Smithing (fully perked), One-handed, and Light Armor

Only Sneak (fully perked) on any other character, and it took 95 hrs to get that.

There is a level cap.

Don't really think it was intended to be condescending, meerly stating that you can actually max out every single one of the skills and that takes you to the hard level cap of 81. For that reason, I think that he/she was just suggesting asking at the soft level cap of 50, since obviously a level 81 would have all maxed out.

I think at level 50, I had only one skill at 100 (Smithing, hit 100 at lv48). As for "maxed" on perks.... depends on what your definition of "maxed" is. If it's "got the top perk", then I only had one skill, Smithing. And I probably won't have more than one or two others on that character. I didn't find the upper perks in many of the skills to be all that compelling. My main combat skill, 1-handed, for instance.... only six or seven perks spent there, and nothing above the mid-level ones.

When i say 'maxed' out; i am only referring to skills that have reached 100, not the amount of perks spent in those skills.

I'll never have any skill fully perked simply because for every skill there are perks that I find useless for my character.

Sorry just read your post above. :)

But the most skills I've had at 100? Well I was at level 75 at one point so take that for what you will. :) I probably had 12 skills at 100 with a few others in the 60's or so.

I'm not quite done with my highest level character, but I'm on my way to maxing out... let's see... archery, sneak, pickpocket, alchemy, lockpicking, possibly smithing and conjuration. The first three are already at 100. So that makes 5-7 skills. If I play long enough, I might eventually max out speech too.

Now if you're interested in perks, none of my skills is fully perked.

That's a good set of skills there, speech has some useful higher level perks

Well, you see, when you're asking a question like this:

it's a bit odd. Everybody going above level 50 is attempting to max out as many skills as possible, and people who are at 81 probably maxed them all (save one or two). And you can easily find people on this forum who are at 81, so...

Yeah, but it's a pain to level and by the time I reach 100 I won't need the extra money those perks provide. I don't need it already. Anyway, I don't grind skills, they all level naturally so I'm not a person you were actually looking for - attempting to max many skills  And pickpocket is fun!

At level 50 I had Smithing, Sneak, and Lockpicking all maxed out to 100. As with others above, I have no desire to complete a tree with all the perks because there are too many useless ones. And some require you to waste perks on other useless ones just to get to the one you want.

I think they should have made it so you only have to get a specific skill to a certain level to get a perk. You shouldn't have to waste a perk on the one before it just to get to the one you want.

For example: It svcks to have to waste a few perks on usless lockpicking perks just to get to the unbreakable lockpick perk which is the last perk on it's tree branch. But I don't mind having to reach 100 on the skill to get it.

I completely see your point but my actual question was this "How many Skills have you managed to max out in one game?" so i don't understand an individuals lack of capacity to not grasp the question. And the point was to see the range of skills people decide to max and how many they like to concentrate on for main skills and for secondary skills etc.

I wish I'd level up slower. That's why I play the game, to progress. If I focus on two/three skills, they hit 100 very fast and well, that was it. --> next character..

I always end up getting 100 sneak, even if I don't put any points in perks. Just a habit to sneak walk always. The only tree I maxed out all perks was archery. I could have maxed out sneak, but that last perk seems like an "I win" button. I maxed out smithing to one side or the other, but never the whole thing. I'm pretty close with destruction, but I don't see the need for the elemental finishers.

My last character maxed out Light Armor, Two-handed, Alteration and Destruction by level 52 when i run out of non-random quests i knew of that the character would be willing to complete (that is, no thieves, brotherhood, companions nor most daedric quests :hehe:). I was activley using Restoration and Block in addition to those, they ended up around 80. And lockpicking of course was over 90 too. took about 100 hours, averaging at about one level per 2 hours. Seems pretty good pace to me.

The character before that i think maxed out four skills too at high 40s.
