Imagine it , a dynamic world...

That's weird, I because I swear they're in Riverwood all the freaking time, & in Markarth on occasion.

Also, dear god. I find it completely ridiculous that your username is partially censored when it appears in the text of a post.
That just seems a little over the top.

...Well, it IS a censorable word when you put the censored letters together...A tactical error on my part.

Imagine it , you're going from Riverwood to Whiterun , you see Faendal on a carriage carrying wood for Whiterun.
When you go into the city , you notice that the innkeeper is waiting for the wood.

After that , you notice that the Jarl and Janessa are going around the city to look around.

When night arrives , you notice a few sneaky bandits trying to break into the city , and only find their deaths from the guards ( which actually doing something ).

After sleeping in the inn , you go to the stables to buy your hard earned horse , just to find that another traveler bought it , instead of that , the seller sells you a different one.

Now what do you say , is this a possibility or just a mere dream ?
( Both from DLC possibility and Mods )
I want to know what the Jarl is doing with Jenassa.

Well yes it is, but it's one of those situations where censoring it serves only to draw attention to where there was none before.
Which sort of defeats the purpose of censorship.

I was wondering the same thing?
Maybe Balgruf just has a predilection towards Dunmer women in leathers? Who doesn't?

I think one thing they COULD add that would lend itself a dynamic edge is a town crier who announces the news and such in towns, pertaining to their hold. Nothing really world related, but fluff. You know, sitting at a bar, or outside and hearing the latest goings on.

"Today, a fist fight broke out between two merchant lords during a dispute hearing at the Blue Palace. Both men have been charged with disturbing the peace and are currently awaiting the decision by Jarl Elisef whether this is grounds for jail time, or expulsion from the Hold."

Stuff like that, give or take.

Most importantly, I want to at least feel like there's more going on around me, than what it is I'm doing. NPC's lead lives to.

I agree, this would have helped towns feel less dead.

Irileth is Jarl Balgruuf's housecarl.

Jenassa is a barfly knocking back tankards of ale in the Drunken Huntsman tavern 24/7.

Well, you have the random encounters with members of the Companions doing different jobs (mainly killing predators, it seems), and jarl Korir goes to the inn for a drink sometimes, so I don't see why other NPCs couldn't have schedules that included them leaving their houses and hometowns every now and then. But I guess more complicated schedules would make the game bigger and buggier. :/

i think it would be way too labor intensive to program that all into the game and it all continue to work for playing a single game world for 100+ hours without makeing the game super expensive to make but all i know about making video games is one class in highschool soo i hope i'm wrong cause tat would be so cool

It's very possible with todays tech actually, it just need ALLOT of work hours.

But alas, instead of making the next TES more detailed by using more resources, they instead devote those resources to make a online game

I agree with you, The online game won't be as successful as their games.

I like Izsoul's ideas overall, and I think there are already a few mod projects seeking to enhance this aspect of the game.

One to keep an eye on is http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1373997-relz-radiance-a-simple-immersion-booster/, which adds a lot of new radiant story quests and encounters.

The reason that stuff like this isn't in the game (even to the extent that it was in Oblivion) is so that players don't get confused when the NPC isn't sitting in the exact same place when they come to turn in a quest. It stinks for the people who value an immersive world over ease-of-play.

While we think of today's hardware as standard equipment compared to the 1920's we would seem pretty futuristic to them however im sure that the technology to make a dynamic world in a video game work does exist it might be rather complicated to program and keep from making game breaker bugs.

The next-gen Elder Scrolls game should make you doubt it's in the same franchise as Skyrim or Oblivion. That's what I'm hoping for anyway. I want some REAL radiant-AI, anyone seen Watch Dogs at e3? All the people just chatting and hugging and whatever, it makes you feel that you're in a real world. But Watch Dogs had generic NPCs, in TES it can be much much better.

Actually people would be able to use the compass to direct them to NPCs. Im guessing it's jut really hard to do. I always wondered why Bethesda wasn't as ambitious with Skyrim like they were with Oblivion. Sure Oblivion kinda failed but it was still something special.
