Its that time of year again

Post » Mon Nov 28, 2011 12:19 pm

Won't be doing anything on actual Hallowe'en, unless my friends convince me to go guising (trick-or-treating) which I doubt. I think people would get annoyed if a group of teenage girls came to their door wanting sweeties :P. However, there's a Hallowe'en party at the local youth cafe on Friday so I'm going to that with my friends. Dressing up as a pirate :D

Most of all, I'll be telling everyone I meet ONLY 11 MORE DAYS!!!11one!!

Just a normal day to me. Not even the little kids around the neighborhood cares about celebrating Halloween.

I think I'm going to a friends party. Plan on grabbing a lab coat and 3D glasses (with lenses poked out) to go as Gordan Freeman . Pretty half arsed costume, but I only have 2 days to prepare :P

The best way to incorporate this into Halloween is dress up as a TV with a ring in it while announcing the days til' Skyrim.

A quick story. A couple Halloween's back we had a party and while everyone else was too chicken this one friend Lenny dressed up as Freddy Kreuger (I was chicken and just dressed up as a hockey player) with the clawed gloves and the mask, but didn't have the signature Freddy sweater, so he found a blue scrub top, bottom, and stethoscope (which he hung around his neck) and we called him Dr. Freddy. After quite a number of drinks and scaring the bejesus out of people we decided to go to their local (small, crappy town) A&W (the type where you drive up, park, walk up to a window and place your order and it has a )) which was open later than usual. Just before arriving, I bluetoothed my Halloween theme ringtone to Lenny, since his phone played tones very loudly, and had him set it to his default ringtone. I had him wait in line for a burger and freeze while I sat down at a table in the outdoor eating area and called him, again when he got the food and came over to the table, making http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/5928/lennydrfreddy2.jpg. As we figured, he got a lot of attention -- some kids were scared of him, especially the ones in line in front of him, some laughed, and a few advlts who took a joke a bit seriously commented about why Freddy is using a Halloween theme. When we got back to the party (was about two blocks away from the A&W so quick walk) we had more drinks, set off a number of mortars, m180s, and bottle rockets that were left over from ID4, a number of people played football in the front yard or some drinking game version of spades, and continued using Lenny to scare kids as Dr. Freddy, leaving us a little extra candy left over. That so far as the best Halloween we've had, and of course, this was before I moved to Canada so that will likely add to the "memorable" factor.

Don't have little buggers in my neigborhood, so no porch light/candy giving going on. I'll probably just watch a few scary movies, and then jump at every house creaking noise as I try to sleep.

Hmm this year I shall be in my ancient greek course at the university and if that isn't freaky enough, probably go to a friend's house to party afterwards. Need an idea for a costume...

Google costume

I don't celebrate Halloween, Christmas, Easter nor any other religious day.
I'm lame, but at least I have principles.

Are you a Jehovah's Witness or just allergic to fun?

Okay, Okay... I've been invited to a party but seeing as it's a school day I'm not sure if I should go.

Now that were 5 days away from halloween what will YOU be doing that day?
I for one am having a party whilst wearing medieval clothing :celebration:
Nada nada. Normal crap goin' on... No kids in the neighborhood who do the Halloween thing. It'll be dark and cold, so I think most parents take their kids to the local motels/hotels that hold a "safe" Trick-or-Treat event. Probably watch a movie or read a book, etc. Ooo...maybe have some pumpkin pie...

"do not accept candy from strangers" but on halloween, that's ignored lol.

In Finland we don't have this trick or treat thing and anyone doing so will be thought of to be weird and no-one actually has candy to give lol.

Bugger all. Despite the continuous attempts by retailers to enforce Halloween on Australia it isnt celebrated here.

Bloody oath, mate.

Instead, I too will be studying for exams and trying to keep my grades up. Then go eat some Vegemite.

Dont forget to ride your kangaroo over to a bonza mate's place. Ring him before to make sure he throws another shrimp on the barbie and make sure there are plenty of top sheila's there. Dont drink and drive like a gallah afterwards though.
