That is totally right. When you character holds the hot end means you have reached the highest level of blacksmithing.

Not really... My character holds the wrong end while smithing and my level is only 78... My husband's character holds the correct end and his smithing level is 100...

I was actually the first person to make a post about this last year soon after the release.lol No one really cared when compared to the backwards flying dragons, bugged quests, bloating save files and frame rate drops. Its nice to be brought up again because once I start playing again,I really don't want to watch that happen. Just looks weird.lol

We notice a bug and that means we play it too much? lol Blacksmithing is like one of the first things you end up doing at the beginning of the game. And since they put everything in your face, yes you kinda have to see that while scrolling through menus.lol

After you stand there and take a full blast of fire in the face from a dragon, a little hot metal, nothing

Yes it was kind of a joke but also so very true.. :prod:

If anyone wants to take the fun out, then it's just a bug where the hammer doesn't show up on his hand during the scripted animation

Hey, adrianne, who is *NOT* the best blacksmith in whiterun, can hammer a metal into place with an invisible hammer :) So great ol' dovahkiin would of course be entitled to any blasphemy.

I'd love to see a plume of steam coming off the npcs hand when it does that, possibly with one of the DB torture victims wail samples playing lol.
