Perhaps future games can have, as rewards for exploring and/or quests, the songs on the radio stations be available for playing whenever one wants, almost as an MP3 player, although I am aware that MP3 technology probably doesn't exist in the Fallout universe, but holotapes playable via Pip-Boy do.

"Love Me As There Were No Tomorrow" is very good. The song that starts off with the woman singing, "Like a shooting star" is another favorite of mine. I also like, "It's a Sin". That's the only ones that I can think of at the moment.

If my wife or I are playing and that song comes on we both say, "Ah, it's that horrible song again!" even if one of us is in another room. We even go out of our way to turn of radios/jukeboxes whenever that song comes on.

The 'shooting star' song is called 'Where have you been all my life', and 'It's a sin' is 'It's a Sin to tell a lie'

(I'm not correcting you, I just figure some people like to look it up on Youtube sometimes. :vaultboy: )

@Boradom- The songs name is 'Big Iron' xD

@H45X78x- There is a timeline split somewhere around 1949-50, so the Fallout universe is a world based in Retro-futurism where technology advanced rapidly, where as culturally they remained the same campy 1950s era we know of today.

Actually, why are there two songs with basically the same name? It's damn confusing, and I can barely tell which one I hate and which one I really hate.

@H45X78x, if productivity has been reduced to zero, then cultural progress has been set to -100,000,000. I'm surprised there aren't just people playing bongo drums that you come across every so often by now.

Whoops, my mistake, I forgot about BMR and MR. I would probably listen to Black Mountian Radio or Mojave Radio, but I HATE that stupid 'going under' redneck twang song. But I do love that song 'Let's ride into the sunset' song, that is a really lovely song.

I know it's crazy, every game you hear how it's so many years ahead of the previous one and everyone is still wearing Leather Armor, Relax Springtime Clothing and yadda yadda yadda, It's funny how people cling on and flame me when I mention changing ANYTHING from the fallout series when the most idiotic thing is no matter what, the culture never changes. Fallout: New Vegas takes place in 2281, three years after the events of Fallout 3, and thirty-nine years after Fallout 2. Nobody took up sewing since then?! lol

The radio playlist for New Vegas seems somewhat lacking as compared to Fallout 3 but seriously, Johnny Guitar is the worst song ever. The music is horrible, the lyrics are idiotic, and it seems to play after almost every other song.

I actually like this song. I am not fond of country/western music which plays often, and the Sinatra scene did nothing for me, but I do not mind it as much. Johnny Guitar is a nice track for the time.

The music sets the mood for the fallout series, anything more modern would destroy that mood in my opinion, or it's just because I'm an old fart with old fashion tastes.
