June 5 - 3:15pm - G4TV Dawnguard E3 Demo [merged similar top

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 8:31 am

I though He meant Dawnguard in general(the dlc) the focus will be exploration and crafting. So if I join the vampires I won't have much to explore? :ermm:

Todd says something along the lines of... "So, the Dawnguard side of it, there are two sides of the DLC, that gets more into crafting and exploring. You can even have your own armored troll. So... it's cool."

IDK, but that Katy Perry look alike host was hot. And tell us more about these Frost Elves! Well, besides the main Dawnguard quest, I hope there is some new side quest and caves to explore.

They can't stop you from exploring. The DLC stays in Skyrim anyway, so you can still explore. I think they just want to make the Dawnguard sound like a worthy faction to join. I know that the Armored Troll has me wanting to join...

10 to 20 hours is more than I thought it would be...I hope that's not just the main questline because that would be ridiculously long.

Oh and the link in the OP is taken down. Try this

10 to 20 hrs was roughly the same amount of game play for Knights of the Nine from memory.I'm perfectly happy with that

I want to learn more about the perks of joining dawnguard. Other than crossbows and armored trolls, I doubt many people will choose dawnguard.

Exactly. If the Dragon is on the side of Dawnguard...

Todd mentioned mounted combat for PC and Xbox, but not PS3. Unbelievable.

PC > Xbox 360 > PS3

In case you haven't figured that out yet. And this is coming from someone who owns both an Xbox 360 and a Playstation 3. But NOT a computer (at least that could run Skyrim).

Generally I would agree with you, but I think in Bethesda's eyes, it goes Xbox360 > PC > PS3

If Microsoft will allow mods on the Xbox... then yeah. Xbox will probably be the greatest. It might not have the extreme high def of a $5,000 computer but it would still be on xbox. That means xbox live.

Well, I like to think that because I'm an Xbox user primarily. The only reason I own a Playstation 3 is for MLB: The Show and for the Blu-Ray player. But I will never argue that the PC has many advantages over the Xbox.

Can't Wait for some new content for the game. Heck i literally played Skyrim for like three and a half months strait before i completed most of the core content. Looking forward to sinking some more time into the dlc when it comes out!

Saw the G4 thing on tv Dawnguard seems pretty cool, normally I hate DLC but aside from the horse armor thing Bethesda seems pretty classy with how they handle these type of additional content.
I thought it was a little weird how vampire lords were just running around in broad daylight in the G4 thing though do all vamps do that in Skyrim?

Again, I would agree with you, but the Xbox 360 is also clearly the lead platform for Bethesda.

People always say that girl (Morgan Webb) seems like she doesn't know much.

In truth, she actually plays 90% of the game's she reviews and was a Oblivion addict.

I think she's not really good at interviews and such, but she still has her job because she really is a gamer.
And it doesnt hurt that guy's want to have relations with her.

I'd tap that.

But yeah, mods on Xbox would be nice, even if they were very limited. Maybe a creation kit made specifically for xbox. I am an Xbox gamer.

It just depends on how Microsoft decides how it should be implemented, if at all. They might just work something out for the next console generation. This would be a step in the right direction for winning the console war.

If on the off chance they did implement it, it would undoubtedly be dumbed down. It could be run similar to the android market, where they take out anything with viruses and release it to LIVE.

Hey look, vsions is here.

They do but I believe the daylight causes their health, magica and stamina to regenerate really slow

I think vamps should lose health suuper slowly in sunlight (1hp/20 seconds), and wouldnt regenerate stamina and magicka at all.
