I just bumped into an NPC who was voiced by an Irish person

Next thing you're going to tell me is that there is no Santa Claus! Y'all at least eat grits every day for breakfast, right?

The things that bothers me about the accents is that they aren't consistent. If I recall correctly, in Oblivion, Orcs sounded like Orcs; Argonians sounded like Argonians; and so on. It's a bit more hodgepodge in Skyrim.
Not every day, most of the time. It's not easy to make grits if you're not experienced making it, it tends to get everywhere and you have to add just the right amount of salt.

In Oblivion the Orcs shared their voice actors with Nords, and you could tell.Argonians and Khajiits both had the same voice actors as well. All elves had the exact same two voice actors for each gender. The only ones with unique voice actors were Imperials, Redguards, and Bretons.Remember though that there were only about 13 voice actors for Oblivion and there are over 70 for Skyrim.

Um... it's the same in Skryim - there's exactly two Orc voices (maleOrc and femaleOrc) and exactly two Argonian voices (maleArgonian and femaleArgonian). So they can't help but to "all sound alike."

Well Americans (no offence) are generally (those I've come across) lousy on determining accents. Basically, everything that is not English or "American-english" is labeled as French or Spanish...

Extremely wrong, I've never met anyone in my life who's mistaken a foreign language that is not French or Spanish for French or Spanish.

Farkas had a pretty terrible voice.

He sounded like the crosseyed guy in the waterboy.

That is not true at all. I've heard Argonians that sound kind of like they did in Oblivion, and I've heard some with clear voices, sounding more human.
