Release date: 03/23/10
Demo release date: 03/04/10

I'm pretty excited about it. I absolutely loved the first one, and this game looks like it took all the great things about JC1 and improved on them. I can't wait to see how the double grapple hook turns out, grappling people to airplanes should be really fun :P . I can't find anything about whether there is co-op or not, hopefully there is so we can all play together. Anyone else gona get the game?

I am REALLY looking forward to this. The first was fun, for a week. Then you realize how [censored] big the island is and that there are really only twelve missions that you do, over and over and over and over and over and over..well you get my point. I still turn it on for S&G now and then, the variety of vehicles is nice, and the stunts are crazy fun. Whats better than jumping out of an airplane at 60000 feet, skydiving and dropping onto a motorcycle and hijack it then fight for a revolution?

Yeah, I never really liked the missions. Base jumping was awesome though. I once jumped off the highest mountain of the game and never opened my parachute, I just skimmed like 10 feet off the grounds the whole way down, and somehow live by landing in water.

According to http://www.panauisland.com/experience/ review of the game, the skybox is gigantic. Should make for some awesome aerial fights (Since now there are enemy planes that chase you) and sky dives.

I'll add that link to the OP.

Yep, its a must buy for me, I liked the free-roam of the original game, in fact, I just installed it again last month.

Well, that's another game to add to the "reasons to get a new Xbox" list... :brokencomputer:

Ha! Everyone point and laugh at the XP kid!

Anywho...

What is everyone else going to do first? I'll probably find the nearest gas tank, grapple myself to it, then shoot it off and ride it like a rocket.

Another reason to upgrade to W7. But that's just what M$ wants me to do.

I saw this preview about Just Cause 2 on IGN, and now I'm no longer that excited about it. It sounds like they've yet to fix a lot of problems that plagued the original.

Still, the grappling and parachuting mechanics look great, so I'll definitely rent it and check it out.

Well, it seems like they only got to play the first couple parts of the game. Still, it's disappointing to see a bad review of the game, maybe I'll get Crackdown 2 instead :(

No, I still will keep hope since the review is only the first part of the game, but I am really on the line between this and Crackdown 2.

If I really like the demo then I might get it.

So what is just just cause 2 about anyway? and what's that thing I heard about base jumping?

Well it does say the demo is coming to Steam too, so we'll see what "Windows XP is unsupported" really means. I'm really surprised they did this, considering in the most recent hardware survey that Steam took about 48% of people were still on Windows XP.

This might be enough for me to finally install the copy of Windows Vista that has been sitting next to me for years, but I really doubt it.

I don't know anything about the story yet. JC2 is pretty much a pure adrenaline game. Want to jump off a cliff? Do it, you have a parachute! Want to ride on top of a Boeing 747 (a commercial airliner), hijack it, then do skim it along the water? Done. Want to thether a bus full of passengers to a helicopter, fly thousands of feet in the air and drop it? Mhmmmmm. JC2 is gona be great :)

Yup. It's in the OP. Also, the demo comes out Thursday, and it is the full game, but you only have 30 minutes of play time. However, doing certain actions, like gaining "CHAOS", you can extend that time limit.

By full game do you mean the actual entire game, with all the missions and side missions and areas intact? Or just the whole world to explore with no plot missions etc?
