Those two shots point out why the "extra dark nights" style mods are something I'm not a fan of - what's the point in stuff looking cool or interesting (like, say, building a house),
if you can't see them?

I Just think those female armors are silly.
As someone who's been involved with the Fantasy genre for over three decades (novels, art shows, movies, tabletop games, digital games, etc)? I don't really have a problem with it, because female warriors & mages in impractical outfits has been kind of right smack in the middle of it since at least the 50's. From the earlier artists like Frazetta & Vallejo; to the 80's era of Caldwell, Parkinson, and Elmore; to things by Achilleos, Royo, and the Heavy Metal artists..... it's kind of a traditional part of the genre for me.

(and I'm sure the Asian "anime" style games - which aren't really, at all - were influenced by those Western artists, just like the "big eyes" look came from Walt Disney)
These armors (i have seen worse) Just looks like they dont fit in the elder scrolls.
Edit: okay, yeah, I'll admit that a number of the mods don't match the artistic style of the overall game. But that can also be true of more covering armors - it can depend alot on the quality of the textures.
