Killing people who send thugs?

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:37 am

That's pretty dark. I'll be sure to keep my thugs from chasing after you!

I don't remember having very many men sent after me, because I don't tend to steal things very often. Even on my assassin/theif characters I can't remeber ever have been sent thugs, which is actually a little strange. Pretty sure I would have killed them or at least stalked them had they done.

Yea good thing im not like that in real life

Well atleast you know who sends the thugs after you but we never get told who sends the Dark Brotherhood after you.
Reverse pickpocketing sounds good although one or two bottles poison will also find their way to their inventory

The Thalmor are the only people that come after me. I must not be important to anyone else.

I either kill them or if they have a family I let them live and go after their loved ones

Wow. Just wow. Lol.

One problem..... I've had someone send people to kill me because I did a reverse pickpocket. So they might just send more people.

Well, then i do the same with the new contract. Sooner or later they'll realize they're just wasting their money :hehe: Or rather, giving it to me

>Assassinate Deekus
>3 Hired Thugs
>We're here to teach you a lesson
>Kill them
>"Here's the money as agreed. I need you to kill the thief S'drassa - Deekus."
>

Even better when that note is from a Forsworn Briarheart whose heart i pickpocketed

I just wanted to find out if when playing a thief/assassin you always kill someone when they set out a thugs contract on you for stealing/killing someone they know? I just can't resist the urge to get revenge haha

I don't kill them, but I will go back to their shop/home/etc. and drop the contract note right in front of them with a sprig of Nightshade and walk off. That's my Dunmer Assassin Vampire, Nocturne's style. :D

Now, if they send someone out to "teach me a lesson" three times or more, then their death is imminent once I get done handling business...

I do that all the time, and my character isn't even an assassin. Try to kill me and you're going to get killed, simple rule, works for bandits, sabrecats, wispmothers - and noblemen who hire thugs to kill me because I stole their favorite garnet.

In case that was directed at the "whose heart i pickpocketed" part, their hearts have been replaced with a briarheart (whatever that is ) and you can pickpocket it off them, that kills them instantly.

In case it was just for the absurdity of the whole event, i agree
