It depends on if you're talking about her looks or what she represents. :P

Well, whatever she is.... Will she have cake? Cause I like cake...

If the choices are Kim Kardashian with cake or death I'd have to think about it for a bit.

Seriously, I miss the days when people were famous because they were special, not special because they're famous. It sickens me to think about the millions of people doing good things, making the world a better place and they're unknown because the air waves are crammed with tragic examples of human beings.

It would be awkward meeting her, considering i think that she represents everything wrong with entertainment embodied in one being. Dont let her shake your hand, it may fall off.

And guys no insults she may be a member of the forums.

My friend and I were joking that if we won we'd give her a tandem pinch on her chesty parts. If for no other reason than to laugh when it's talked about on "The Soup".

As far as insulting her. If she's insulted by how I feel about her and her ilk, then maybe she should grow a thicker skin.

Anyone remember when there was actually Music on MTV? Am I that old?

Yes and yes.

I still remember the very second MTV went on the air.

Except that it tends to teach young impressionable girls that being pretty is all that matters. Why be smart or work hard to contribute to the world when all you have to do is be pretty and have no real self esteem?

Pretty and rich.

Luckily, most teenyboppers seem to have grown out of the Paris Hilton phase. It's all Hannah Montana, Justin Beaver and The Wiggles these days.

I was wondering this too. Is she doing a voice or something? It seems kinda random if you ask me. I wouldn't want to go if I won anyway. I don't see the point

And besides, If i won I wouldn't waste my time at birthday parties, I'm going in the hotel room and playing the game!!!!

Immature, or mature enough to be sad about how petty and shallow our society is? Dun dun dun!

Yeah, I hate it that so many people know who Kim Kardashian is but don't know who their senators are. If that makes me immature or jealous, then so be it.

Again, I'll bet the events are just in the same place at the same time. Occam's Razor, y'all.

why get mad at women for embracing thier sixuality? Its not up to celebritys to teach young children things, thats what parents are for... people these days need to just accept the blame for thier problems instead of dumping them off on the next easy celebrity target. This is the same thing as blaming the violence in the youth on video games. The whole attitude of this topic is that of the south park where they get rid of brittney spears.

There's nothing wrong with embracing your sixuality, but becoming famous for it and in the process becoming a role model for impressionable kids is pretty sad.

Actually, the birthday party is at some nightclub, while the launch party is at a casino/hotel.

You're missing the point, I think.

Most night clubs in Vegas are in casinos, which are usually in hotels. Gah, you're going to make me spend time actually looking into this, aren't you? :P

Edit:
Ok, the birthday party is at the Tao Nightclub, which is in the Venetian (a hotel and casino...pretty nice, I've been but never stayed there). The NV release party is at The Palms (a hotel and casino). So, while they are both at hotel/casinos they are not at the same one.

Ok that is kinda random. :P

Im not missing the point, im fully aware what the topic is supposed to be. But what it has turned into is everyone hate on kardashian, the demeanor of people's post's are clearly hostile. Yes it is bad that people dont know who their senator is, but it is not her fault. Again it would come down to parenting or simply a distaste for politics, or another of the multitudes of other possibilities. Which ever the case may be has nothing to do with her.

Ok, maybe some people are hating on her, but that's their right. I personally don't know her, but I do know that I have no reason to care about who she is or what she does. She's rich and has a famous dad, and that's all. I dislike the implications her fame has about our society, so in general people talking about her isn't going to illicit a positive response from me. People like her represent grossly misplaced priorities in more ways than one. Her, personally, I couldn't care less about.

Still, though, I think you're taking things too seriously here. People are just joking around.

mmmkay... I let this go for a while, but, well... Kim Kardashian's relative merit as a celebrity or an attractive woman isn't really about FONV.

Good luck to those of you entering the contest tho. Take lots of pix if you win!
