I've only played through it once just because I was VERY interested in how things play out. After that, I deleted every save I had up until I just started the DLC, and am going to play in the Mojave until I hit level 35. I'll probably try to find a container near the fountain to store excess equipment (do they respawn? can someone test it?) and return to the Mojave over encumbered by a few hundred pounds. Once I reach the vault though and am faced with those valuable golden bars, I'll fill up the rest of whatever room I have (after looting Elijah) which will likely just be one, maybe two, golden bars. After, when I return to the Mojave, I'll likely keep one on a dresser in my Novac hotel room, and either stick the other one inside my safe or find a reclusive spot in the wasteland to hide it and think of a complicated map in my head to get there again and think of it as some long lost treasure for a Prospector to recover in a hundred years or so, though my character will say that it's sort of a back up plan should he ever need to leave the Mojave. Find the old piece of gold he hid, take it with him to where ever her plans on going, and pawning it off for enough supplies to live in comfort again.
