List of Issues

This game has more bugs than it has items. I have never ever played a game with this amount of bugs, glitches, freezes,... Unbelievable
Here are a few frustrating bugs I encountered (Xbox 360 version):

- When in 1st person, my arms would constantly go up and down for no reason
- 50% of the creatures in the Wasteland are stuck in textures
- When unequipping a weapon, my running speed is sometimes the same as when I have my weapon equipped (can be 'solved' by reloading a save)
- In some occasions a quest starts and a second later it says the quest has failed for no reason. When reloading a save and doing the same, the problem is 'solved'
- Programming logic for some quests is really bad, so when you start to mix things up by doing other quests which are related to that quest there is a high probability that the quest will glitch (the main quest for example)
- Again quest problems, actions not being registered
- Doors being locked, making completion of a quest impossible, and this is irreversible by the way. If you continue your game without reloading a save you are f*cked. I was once locked inside the Strip. The gate to enter Freeside was locked and it needed a key?! I fast traveled to another location, doing a few side quests, then wanted to enter the Strip again, but it was impossible since that gate was locked. I needed to reload a save game from +4 hours of gameplay to 'fix' this.
- Companions not doing what you command them to do. If you send someone back to the Lucky 38, there is a 50% chance you will never see them again. Another problem is they sometimes stay at places, while the command still says they need to follow. This problem almost always occurs in The Strip, especially when leaving the Lucky 38. For some reason, you ALWAYS have to double confirm they need to follow you before you leave the Lucky 38
- The longer you play, the slower the games starts to play; loading times are slower and slower, lag keeps building up, temporary lock-ups keep occurring. After 5 hours of constant gameplay, you can always expect a permanent lock-up (aka freeze).

These are just some of the glitches and problems I encountered. Besides the glitches, the game is really fun. So please Bethesda, fix the problems so this game can have its full potential.

I hate that they messed up the textures for the Grimy Pre-War Business Suit for the Male Character. I hope they fix this in the patch.

no it is very very buggy for me
xbox 360
constant freezing, lagging looooong load ime
the arm pump, my character shooting weapons uncontrollably
falling through the map
etc etc tc

also when trying to do the monorail quest
i fall throught the train
actually i am standing there supposedly on the train
but it runs right through me

spoiler
for the train
i actually did get on it and tried to defuse the bomb
it said i did defuse it, but
then it blew up anyways
i gave up at that point, as i succeeded in only once
having the game regonize that i was on the train

it is NOT suppose to blow up once you defuse it

I only encounter freezing issues when I quit the game to go to the start menu, it scans for dlc and freezes. (I do have the dlc though, included with the pre-order game).

So I guess I better can go to the xbox dashboard from the game, instead of going to the start menu first....

I am experiencing the same type of issues as listed about, some different, but alot of the same.... I have a maybe 2 month old xbox 360 slim, nothing on the hard drive just saved games.... it performs wonders for any other game i play except this one.... My fall out 3 doesnt glitch, lag, or have any problems like this game does....

here is a list of what my issues are....

Resricted movement! there are places anyone could easily go, yet character wont go anything close to it, like you said invisible walls....

BUT BETHESDA, SERIOUSLY FIGURE YOUR SH*T OUT.... YOU SHOULD NOT RELEASE A GAME IF THERE ARE GOING TO BE THIS MANY ISSUES.... DONT RUSH SOMETHING AND SEND IT OUT PREMATURE.... stop thinking about the profits, and start going for the performance.... you have screwed up on every game you have released all due to neglecting the performance and to careless around flaws.... People love the games, so make them happy... its better for business when your not f*cking everything up.....

By the way really good game.... and will be the best i have played (providing bethesda takes there head out their ass' and fix the problems)

I'm trying to get a response on this one, because it has completely ruined the game for me. Basically the PC community can easily remove the invisible walls using the GECK utility. But that doesn't help the 360 and PS3 players. I'm trying to see if they can remove these in a patch since they were such a bad idea. I get the reason why (NPCs and Followers can't follow you up there) but there were plenty of situations like that in Fallout 3 and I don't believe it was a huge issue that needed to be corrected. Especially with something like Invisible Walls.
