On the bright side: It was just a replaceable machine that broke and nothing else.

Come over to my house, you can play mine. It just sits there collecting dust anyways and I play Skyrim on the PC so the TV is free.

Joking aside, I've had a couple moments in my life like that. A few years back I was really excited to be going with my dad to a fathers day golf outing that I hadn't been too in 3 or 4 years before that and about a week before we were gonna go he broke his ankle playing softball. So we couldn't go, dashed my hopes pretty bad when I found out.

I think the simple solution is your dad needs to stop wearing pants.

I concur with this. Pant's are so last decade anyway.

My biggest bad luck is my grades all dropped from A's and A-'s that I worked my butt off for months to get down to B+'s. Every single one of those A's. In 3 days. Damn it all :verymad:

But that svcks unbelievably bad. If that were me I'd be screaming in anger. To be honest, you need to really badger your parents about it, if it's really 150 dollars your parents can at least spare that, that' their fault.
