A magic based assasin is so fun

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 6:00 pm

I am just beginning to dabble with a nightblade build i dont quite have all the spells and such to make it effective yet but getting there a few more levels and ill have it to where i can kill just about anything. any tips on leveling sneak quickly?
Sneak is most affected by sneak attack "Backstabs" then sneak attack with Bows. If you don't want to do that. Then just sneak around NPC. Sneaking around Merchants advance it a little faster. and even though you can level Sneak by not moving at all, moving will advance it quicker.

- Backstabs
- Bows
- Sneaking (moving) around Merchants
- Sneaking (moving) around NPCs or anything from what I can tell.

As the title says!
My high elf Ruma is a magic based assasin, using illusion (the most).. Destruction, and one handed (daggers).

She's a dark character, worships the deadra, especaially mehrunes Dagon.
She worships the night mother and sithis also.
She dabbles in alchemy to make poisons for her blade, and collects deathbell and nightshade.

She keeps a souvenir from each of her main contracts.

What I do, is frenzy a group of enemies, use destro from the shadows until there's one left.
I then casually stroll towards them, use a calm spell, then finish them with my dagger.

It's so much fun
I'm a high elf assassin Mage too! Although I don't worship the deadra. My character does not get involved in religion. He's currently done the dark brotherhood quests and in the middle of the college quests. I agree it's the most fun play style so far

The way I do it is Calm a single NPC, kill it, raise it as my zombie, and then charge into battle with it by my side.

Although I'm not exactly playing an assassin, so much as a shadow knight, but if I were to play an assassin, I would definitely utilize Frenzy, Calm, and Raise spells.

My build as an Orc assassin was easily the most powerful damage build I've ever played, with the double multiplier from my assassin gloves, the multipliers from perks and finally the multipliers from racial abilities I was able to one hit backstab nearly everything (including Krosis, Troll and a Mammoth)
