I was actually at PAX (check my mega information threads if you haven't already) and I actually found a pair at Primm. So i would preorder from Direct 2 Drive because the binoculars are found very early in the game.

Too late, I got the Steam version. lol. Thanks for all the input!

I don't think it matters. I am sure eventually you are going to find the same items in-game, maybe with a different name.

plus PC players would surly find mods based on the pre orders items a while after the new GECK is launched.
