Make Fallout 3 RADIO Downloadable content!

Post » Wed May 11, 2011 4:01 am

At the moment i am really enjoying the game, love everything about it but one thing:

PLEASE Make Fallout 3 RADIO Downloadable content!

There are some great songs in NV but without a doubt FO3 had the best radio, just call it galaxy news radio and make it DLC because that music made me feel comfortable when travelling the wastelands

While the songs in Fallout 3 were good, it just doesn't fit the theme of New Vegas. The songs would seem very out of place in most cases.

I wouldn't mind having the radio be fixed in the next patch, as apparently there are some songs that are listed to play, but they don't.

That or add in a couple of more songs of public domain that fit the theme via a patch.

I would happily download ANY extra music. I've stopped listening to the radio completely. Johnny Guitar on the 100th listen can cause cerebral hemorrhaging.
The music from FO3 would be a start.

I can see how this could work...

"Coming in January, exclusively to Xbox: Fallout 3 Radio, only 350 MS Points!"

I'd rather have a DLC that adds a couple of cacti really.
I mean, I wouldn't buy this DLC but if they're going to put work on something then I'd rather have something new rather than a copy paste thing from FO3. (Yes I do see the irony in this statement)

The only good song from FO3 was "Way Back Home" or whatever it was.

Fallout 3's music was much better in my opinion and it didn't get old nearly as fast (plus if it did i could just switich to Enclave Radio for a bit and listin to Eden) while New Vegas's radio stations all seem to play the same music over and over and over again (black mountain radio was pretty good though)

Honestly I usually just listen to New Vegas's ambient music, much better and I dont have to hear about a guy and his big iron for the upteenth time.. :banghead:

Exactly, the only decent song ive heard so far is Aint that a kick in the head, maybe one or 2 others but thats about it.

Is there a way for the Bethesda to see this post and maybe implement it in, if it does cost the most i would pay would be 40 and maybe stretch to 60.

There are tons of mods for FO3 Radio that will work in FONV. there are already several specifically for FONV

Go here: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/search.php?name=radio&scid=55&author=&mname=&desc=&size1=&size2=&downloads1=&downloads2=&udate1_day=0&udate1_month=0&udate1_year=0&udate2_day=0&udate2_month=0&udate2_year=0&ldate1_day=0&ldate1_month=0&ldate1_year=0&ldate2_day=0&ldate2_month=0&ldate2_year=0&endorsemants=&images=&readme=&advltonly=&opensource=&page=2&orderby=name&order=ASC

Yes! After listening to both radio stations in FNV for a little while I have not listened to them again. There are only a couple of songs out of all of them that I like. The FO3 songs are the best and so is Three Dog. Nothing against Mr. Vegas, but Three Dog is awesome.

I want my GNR!

There really is a business opportunity here with all these folks wanting GNR in Vegas. It could be done, but it would take satellite radio to get the signal that far.

And we know satellite radio's a monthly subscription thing...

Hey Bethesda, y'all listening?

GNR musik does NOT fit in New Vegas, is it just me or is Galaxy News Radio jazz and jazz only?
I would rather have a new radio channel with more music like Roundhouse Rock and Big Iron.
Give me Elvis :foodndrink:

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I would pay for a good radio DLC

Sure, you can put your own music on but it's not the same as hearing it out of the pipboy radio. Not just music either, like another DJ and a respectable amount of "Herbert Daring Dashwood" type content. And if people didn't want it? Well, they could just not get the DLC, haha.

Those on PC should get the radio mod http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37029 (By the same guy who made 'GNR - More Where That Came From' for FO3).

You know how most quest titles in New Vegas were taken from songs? This mod adds those to Radio New Vegas. They fit in great.
