Who is Hassildor? Is that a character from a previous ES game?

He's from Oblivion, and was the count (basicly the same as Jarl) of a city called Skingrad. Hassildor was actually a Vampire, and was involved in a few interesting quests :)

No. He helped his wife get cured though, which killed her in the process.

I don't think he'd be cool with these kind of vampires.

They would only serve nostalgia, it would distract and take away from this new story and new vampires.

Sadly though, chances are that he most likely perished in the warring states period in Cyrodil that ended with Titus Mede I 's ascension to the throne.

I agree. One of the only remotely interesting characters in Oblivion.

So it was. I think it'd be better if there was an easter egg, like a letter or something hidden away somewhere detailing what happened to him after the oblivion crisis, or after the war with the Thalmor.

It would be cool to at least see what happened to him. He's one of the few characters in the series I kinda want to know what happened with. Is he dead or alive? Nobody knows

He was a pretty mellow guy that I liked. And it would be interesting to see him again. I always figured that he possibly went into hiding more or less because of the creation of the Stendarr order after the OC.

I would love to see him playing similar role as M'aiq  He will sit in the bench in Solitude (or another town) at moonlight and talk about the past. It wold be awesome.

it would be a nice chat. but I wonder if those voiced lines are better spent to make the Vampire questline much better with the actual key members that drive the story.

No the cure was for his wife, he was accepting of his vampirism. And yes i think that would be awesome.
