so we all know it has been said a character from fallout 3 is supposed to show up in new vegas well this is my guess who it is
so when you talk to lily she will talk about leo who is a super mutant well in fallout 3 there was a random encounter with "uncle leo" which he talks about his family he had once before. and lily is always talking about her grandchildren. so maybe uncle leo is a part of lily's former family and he will be the one to come to new vegas. remember its just a thought so please no flaming!

Lily is from a Vault that became part of the Masters army. Uncle Leo was a Wastelander captured by the Vault 87 Super Mutants. Two entirely different strains of FEV. Your theory is incorrect, at least from the 'Lillies Family' theory. My bet is Desmond Lockheart or members of the Outcasts on their way to the Western Chapters

I wouldn't be surprised on the Outcast theory actually(Even with a fairly low-key to null role in FO 3 other than show two sides of the Capital Wasteland chapter.) I wondered if Colonel Augustus would make a showing but it seemed very unlikely, and I remembered in base Fallout 3 that he's kind of like the "end-boss." Could be dead unless him being alive is canon. I kind of dislike a cameo FO 3 appearance though. These back and forth travels apparently made by foot diminish how dangerous the wastes are, especially in the east and the midwest(Midwest has to be a bit more detailed. Tactics most likely isn't considered canon. I have to agree with Avellone's sentiments that a few nukes dropped again would be very helpful. Plus Fallout is starting to feel a bit....saturated as a franchise. But in the future the game doesn't have to be locked to America including Canadian territory. I saw a overview of a project once on NMA. Was a game made in the vein of Fallout using a distinct European countries 40-60s aesthetic and humor warped with the usual Fallout sprinkles and sunshine. Interesting proposition anyways. Back to that Fallout 3 character who probably went through some "rough treatment" from the Legion. Hah.

I think it will be somebody from BoS because there is a crashed vertibird with a tesla cannon with some skeletons but maybe somebody survived with somebody trying to reconnect with west coast BoS showing them that helping the people ends in fullfilling their original mission in the end while getting new recruits.

I don't think there will be a FO3 character in any NV DLC. If for some reason there does happen to be one, it'll probably be Desmond Lockheart or a new Liberty Prime.

Desmond Lockheart is a very interesting character and we all know he has a personal quest. Thanks to him, point lookout has become a very nice experience for me.

I actually enjoyed Desmond's company, he was a bastard but I knew he would never betray me, unlike some OTHER people. If I had a say, i'd place money on either Dr.Li, Desmond or Lyons
