Merry Christmas to Bethesda!

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:32 am

Hello Bethesda and all Fans of Skyrim!

Just wanted to leave a "Merry Christmas" here to the whole team of Bethesda and a big "Thank You!" for this great game. Skyrim is one of the best RPGs i ever played in my whole 25 years as a gamer! There's so much to explore in this game, such a beautiful landscape (i love that nordish setting), so many epic and majestic moments. Someone here in the forum wrote that as a child he was dreaming of such a game and 30 years later that dream has become real. That's exactly what i think about your game.

Greetings from Austria!

Yeah, merry Christmas. But maybe we should say Happy Holiday or something, to respect the non-christian members.
But, the game is great.

Happy Holiday from Norway.

It is Christmas, yes. But that is a Christian holiday.
So trying to keep it neutral is good, as we got members from all over the place.

Does it really offend anyone? I'm not Christian, and I don't find the word "Christmas" offensive.

I'm not Christian either and I love Christmas. If I did offend anyone I'm sorry but get over it.

Yeah, part of me thinks that if a person is so intolerant that they don't even want to acknowledge that the word "Christmas" is used, they don't really deserve to be respected.

Hey, relax. I'm not talking about myself. I don't care for my part.
I stated other people might be offended.

Sheesh.

Yep and Happy Holidays to everyone and it is a great game.

But, Beth (as a company) should be greeting us and thanking the gamers. If the game were free, then I would be very thankful

We are the ones who bought the game , and as most know, it has sold well over 5mil copies, so I really think it should be the other way around (don't think those guys are not getting huge bonuses this time around). As far as the Beth employees, Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Happy holidays to everyone who celebrates them.

A nasty post has already gone away, so let's keep this neutral as we are a multinational and multi religious community.
