Microsoft loves its customers more than Sony loves theirs?

Post » Mon Jun 25, 2012 4:27 am

Microsoft & Sony are massive international corporations... To get the new DLC for Skyrim early either would've had to pay out large sums of $$$$ for the right to early, exclusive content. As such, I submit that Microsoft loves me (and all Xbox users) more than Sony loves you (any Playstation user) as Microsoft is willing to shell out more mulah than Sony was in order to get its customers PREMIUM content early.

I further concrete this hypothesis as Microsoft could've paid to let it come out for PC, too, but I believe they ::heart:: Xbox customers more than PC users.

Truth be told I know it's a business decision to make more money... but I like to pretend Bill Gates has my best interests at heart ;-)

Thoughts?!

It's not meant to be a flame war.... Just a curious thought. Because really, why not PC & Xbox first?! Microsoft loves us 'box users.

I like to think Bill Gates loves me, but then I think of how many times my Xbox has frozen, or broken, screwed me over. But, I own a PS3, PC, Modified IMAC turned PC, and an Xbox. I'll always love my Xbox.

The only thing Microsoft loves is money. By assuring they get these timed exclusives they sell far more than the other consoles. It actually works. Microsoft probably doesn't give a rat's a** about me but still... It feels good to have the dlc early

Yea, they love us so much they make us pay $60 for live! My only problem with them, but I don't even use it. Glad to know that money is going to getting me skyrim dlc early ????

Honestly, the only box I had that froze was after 4 years of service (one of the original release models, RIP). I've had awesome success with the 3 xboxs I've owned (one died, still have two).

BUT, atleast they would replace the 3 rings of death and other problems for free....

@Forsakenghost

THE CONSOLE WAR HAS BEGUN!

It kind of is Sony's fault, but the majority of it is Bethesda's fault. They have shown no love for PS3 players since release. NONE. I still play Skyrim on PS3, but much less do to all this hatred toward PS3. Bethesda should be taking the punch, NOT US.

Sony are going down in my opinion. The PSVita has been a failure from what i've heard, they never make an attempt to get DLC first like M$, and they really have been outdone by M$ this generation. Hopefully the PSVita's crap sales deter anymore plans for "one console only" games.

The PS4 HAS to hit the bullseye for them to claw their way back up.

I'm sure that Sony has bigger problems right now then spending "big money" on exclusivity for 30 days on one game. Considering that Japan is still recovering from the tsunami, and the fact that they lost SO much money from that AND how they were losing money with each ps3 sold AND how psvita sales were not as high as they hoped, it's a smart move NOT to pay "big money" for 30 days of exclusivity. And I'm a 360 user for skyrim, but I own both consoles
