I wouldn't want an insta-dragon-murder shout. Imbalanced. Makes sense that he'd have it, being thousands of years old. But on a mechnical standpoint, overpowered.

that shout was probably specific to those dragons in apocrypha only
the few dragons in there seemed to be solely to feed miraak in case of emergency, and seemed to be in league with mora too
kinda how durniviir(sp) was bound to the ideal masters and was just a tool to them
if miraak had a shout that could just instantly kill any dragon he came across, thatd be WAAAAAY to powerful

but its anyones guess
thats just mine

That's true, he used their names during those shouts. And we don't know the names of all the dragons we've killed.

Powerful magic ie durnrehviir and the skeletal dragon in labyrinthian.
Alduin ie all the dragons coming back from the dead with his shout.

Huh, that means almost every dragon in the game is technically undead. I never thought if it like that.

Hope other dragons aren't as cocky as Salohknir (spelling). Miraak would be able to instant kill him as soon as he started boasting like a moron. I am Sahloknir! Feel my voi- aaaaaah!

Nooo, and there is no reason to start thinking that.
Dragons are immortal. If their souls return to their physical bodies, they are just reborn on the material plane. They are not undead. They are angels of sorts, to Akatosh what the Dremora are to Dagon.

Even Durneviir isn't undead. He just let too much Soul Cairn essence enter his immortal soul and became a part of this pocket realm, like it became a part of him.

I'm not sold on the 'undead' part.
D-i-i-l is 'undead' in draconian, its clearly missing a letter.
where as d-u-l doesn't exist, unless you supposedly are ment to add/remove letters on the ending meaning it could be D-U which means devour, which is more plausible considering what the shout actually does.

Another point L-O-S is the world for IS.
I'd say the shout is more defined as: Spirit-(is)-dead-devour

Anyone have a language guide for dumbies handy?

Technically, only a few dragons in the game aren't undead when you look at that.

Alduin (He never died. Just was thrown into time).
Paarthurnax (No need to explain).

And there is a 3rd dragon you meet in Skyrim that shouldn't count as Undead... Can't remember his name but he is the very first dragon you kill at Whiterun. If you looked him up, he was never slain and kept hidden within Skyrim all these years. Only attacking a town now and then for food, and such. He became more active when Alduin returned, which caused him to get slain by us...

All others we meet were resurrected in some way or corrupted into that stage.

~Edit~

Miraak's shout is overpowered but would be nice to have to quickly dispatch dragons when you don't want them to attack cities and towns...

You clearly misunderstood the context. Go google what a "XXXX book for dumbies" actually is before you comment.
Allow me to solve you the hassle; I was asking for a conjugation and grammar guide if there was one.

Also note, you linked the wiki, which is notoriously wrong on a lot of information, whereas the UESP is more reliable.

I'd like to see a Language guide made by the devs/writers if possible.

http://www.primagames.com/games/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/primaguides/292/gameplay
this might help aswell common word translation from the prima guide about as reliable as you can get as they got the translation straight from
the dev that created the language

Edit- just noticed that for some reason in the guide they call dragon blood 'sossedov' when in game and IMO its meant to be 'dova sos'. take from that what you will about the reliability I
mentioned must remember to double check these things before I comment lol)

it's just a common thing around here wikis can be edited by anyone ad made false and even false things posted on there, even happens on UESP but the UESP is heavilly moderated monitered and updated more or less daily to avoid mistakes like that

Of course it is cool but i would never want in-game. It would take the fun out of killing dragons and just wouldnt be satisfying.
