If I had to list every mistake made regarding gaming, Internet culture, history, foreign cultures, and the LGBT community on CBS television alone, I'd go criminally insane and be locked up in a mental institution. Doubly so if I'm counting obvious exagerrations made for comedic effect. Just roll your eyes,sigh, and move on.

It's pathetic, really.) they said that the people in the car had shot up a nightclub and the police responded by opening fire on the car, killing the driver and injuring the passenger.

What had really happened when finally reported correctly by a news agency that wasnt rushing to be the first one to get an exclusive story, was that the car had driven up onto the curb and hit a woman and drove over her, she ended up under the car, the police shot at the 2 people in the front seats none were killed both were injured and taken to hospital, in the original report they didnt say there were also passengers in the rear, and that the driver was 14 years old and the driver side passenger was 18 and they were both under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and already had police records.

Not untypical of news reporting here, rarely do you get any real facts.

If I try to pick up mistakes in media (specifically, movies), it just ends up ruining the movie for me.

It's like in the Fellowship of the Ring movie after the final battle, when Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas are re-grouping and the former jogs through a field bunch of dead orcs to get to the latter 2, you can clearly see one of the orcs start to get up. I can't not notice that every time I watch the movie now .

All the cable news channels are bad. I wouldn't say FNC is any worse than MSNBC, and CNN is only slightly better than both.

Really, if you want to know anything about news or world events, these cable tv stations are the last places you should be turning to regardless of who they are.
