Modern Warfare 2 and COD7 discussion

I don't understand why nobody like the M240. That gun completely stomps the other LMGs, except for the AUG, since that's basically a completely different type of gun. Put a grip and SoH on, and you're completely set. Put on Stopping Power too, if you like.

I like all the LMGs I just have a preferred order:

AUG
RPD
M240
MG4
.
.
.
.
.

The matches for regular TDM is way to short they take like 3 minutes sometime.

I have to admit, scoped AUG would be quite fun. :P

Try a ACOG uzi . That is a pain in the butt.

Woohoo, finally.

"We've updated the PS3 & Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 2, including the following fixes:

- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.
- Fix for "infinite care package" exploit.
- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.
- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
- Fixes to prevent various XP hacks (including the prevention of negative XP)"

I did get an update for 360 yesterday.

Has anybody else noticed that the MG4 has explosive rounds when FMJ is equiped?

That was a long two weeks for you . I have seen no glitches since the patch 2 weeks ago, so I think we have no major bug for now.
I was in skidrow yesterday and had about 7 kills with claymores in one life in that tiny stair case area by the market. I also got two snipers kills and one or two shotgun kills that life as well . I tied my 14 killstreak that life I think.

Have you used it with a thermal - after the first shot you don't know what you're actually shooting at :P

On a related note:

Got my Uzi Mastery title and thus finished all of my Mastery titles = D

I doubt that.

It probably isn't like that but the few games I used it I never once got a hitmarker. Whenever I use a noob tube otherwise I get lots of hitmarkers. Unless it's a danger close class.

I finally prestiged. Now that I don't have it anymore, people are using Model 1887 akimbo even more, if that's even possible.

Oh God I hope not. BC is the only online shooter I know of that isn't infested with glitches to exploit.

Well, by the time they find enough glitches in it, BC2 will hopefully have been released

Halo 3 has no glitches online. (of course your body may fly through a wall but that's not a game breaking/exploitable glitch)

OH my god. I am laughing so hard I can't breath right now.

I was using my F2000 + RDS, and if you don't know, the RDS on the F2000 is http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/File:F2000FP.jpg. I got the final kill in the game, and when it showed my gun in the killcam people started screaming and said I hacked and modded in an uber-gun (I guess they never saw a F2000 with a red dot before). I had to leave the lobby because they kept accusing me of hacking!

People these days. I got accused of doing the care package glitch when they were the ones doing it. I simply got a lot of care packages by skill, they didn't. Point made

The TAR-21 has the same kind of RDS as the F2000, and I don't really like them much. They block too much screen space. I want my sights to show me where my bullets are going to go and stay out of my way.

I remember the first time I saw that, I thought it was a crazy hack. I picked it up from the guy I killed, assuming it would start shooting live grenades or RPG bullets. :P

I hate the F2000 so much. Anyways the RDS on it can't be EMPed for some reason, and I got a final kill with it right after an enemy EMP was called in. Pretty much everyone accused me of hacking.
