I'm really enjoying the ACOG intervention today..dunno why but there's something satisfying about using a sniper rifle for close quarters combat. :3

Yeah, my favorite sniper rifle is the M21. I love using the ACOG with it.
Or I use it as an assault rifle and spray people down with it. So much fun.

Mine is 2.81

My KDR is like .87 or so, I play alot of objective games and die alot so that is why I have a crappy KDR but who the hell cares.

I stumbled apon something nice today.

For a change i picked a LMG to play with, the AUG HBAR. I soon found that by equipping a silencer and grip that there is near no recoil on it with these attachment, allowing me to snipe long distances with just the iron sights (which arent half bad to use).

Also, Stopping Power doesnt have much of an effect on it, so it frees up the tier 2 perk for me, allowing either hardline or cold blooded. couple that with ninja and I have a stealthy long ranged LMG.


Anyone else used this before?

Prestiged for the first time at about 3 this morning, and I instantly regretted it. I do see why people like the M4A1 though.

Well I used the AUG HBAR Ground War, Team Deathmatch, Estate , without any attachments (I was doing the challenges and this was a first time use) Scavenger, Stopping Power and Ninja (all pro) and got a streak of 34. Beat my previous of 24.
Although I like your setup, I might try it once I unlock it again (because I prestiged last night =D)

Yeah, on my last prestige I only used sub-machine, snipers and LMGs to get the Mastery titles and the I got the LMG ones really easily. One of my first games with an RPD I got 63-3. I'm surprised they don't get used more.

Man I have no idea how you guys get killstreaks so high. The most I had was 14 kills in on life.

I'll be on by in around an hour, maybe sooner if I'm lucky.

I'd say luck 60% of the time. The rest of the time is other people not being very good.

You should speak to my friend, he only uses the RPD, always never anything else...

I'm only using my uzi now when I go on. Need to get the final 20 or so BP kills for my mastery. I don't play much any more, I get frustrated with all the glitches.

I've never got sticking to one gun throughout the whole game, makes the game really dull for me. I work for one challenge then move on to a different gun. Unfortunately, the only ones I've got now are the 1000+ kills/250+ head shot ones for most of the weapons.

I love both the RPD and the AUG. I have 2500 kills with both of them.

When I get frustrated I break out with that combo and dominate.

I'd say the best tactic is let your team mates be idiots. Don't rush ahead, let your teammates run in front of you. That way, when an enemy kills them you know where they are and you can catch them reloading.

I don't understand why nobody like the M240. That gun completely stomps the other LMGs, except for the AUG, since that's basically a completely different type of gun. Put a grip and SoH on, and you're completely set. Put on Stopping Power too, if you like.


I think it's the most 'basic' gun in the game, which is why I love it and use it. It's got decent range, decent damage, decent clip size, and decent accuracy. It truly fits the 'all-purpose weapon' description it has.

But seriously folks: I wish there was a scoped AUG, like in the campaign.

I love how people complain about a gun being too good. If they were smart, they would be using it too!
